Green Mountain Falls
Green Mountain Falls is a town in Colorado where we spent pretty much the last night on our road trip in this state before we drove back to Denver. It's located about 15 km to the west of Colorado Springs in the mountains.
It's such a charming little town surrounded by amazing scenery. There is also a pond in the middle of the town with an island in the middle of this pond. In the morning after waking up we got some food to go and went outside next to this pond to eat and of course, get some photos of the place.
The weather was also really nice and sunny.
It looks like some people are using this little bridge as a fishing spot. I have no idea what fish is there to be found or what to catch. Should have asked...
You can see mountains all around this town. Originally we had some idea to go on a trail and make a short hike but getting food and morning activities overall took a lot more time than we intended so we had to skip that idea unfortunately.
There is also a cool place to eat and chill out in the evening called Blue Moose Tavern. We went there the previous night. Played some pool and listened to some guys do country songs karaoke lol. I don't have a photo of the tavern but you can see it a bit in the photo below. The white building is on the right side.
It was a beautiful place to spend the night. I like these small-town vibes. We stayed in the Lakeside Cottages. Small houses on the hillside that are really cozy. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of these. Damn, I wish I did, stupid me!

Thank you for sharing your experience at Green Mountain Falls, Colorado! Sounds like a fun and adventurous trip. The small town atmosphere, beautiful views, and interesting activities such as karaoke at the Blue Moose Tavern paint an interesting picture. Don't be too hard on yourself about missed photos; sometimes the best memories are in the memories.
Sure are but memories fade in time. Its great to remind yourself at somepoint.
I always like to visit such a wonderful places. Nature inspired me alot. I also have such clicks of my vacations under mountains but recently due to some storage issues I have lost some clicks. This place is also wonderful and beautiful.
Losing the phtos sucks, I have been there, not fun.
Such a beautiful and calm place to spend your time close to nature, I am imagining myself sitting just in front of these mountains and watching them without blinking my eyes. those green trees are a sign of peace and fresh air.

It was great to sit there and watch the scenery, wish we had more time to explore the area.
When you are visiting this place again?
I have no idea, I dont travel to states very often and next time if I do im probably going to somewhere else.
No! You aren't stupid! Maybe there's a reason why you didn't take photos. Hopefully you will have to go back there by any chance again.
Green Mountain Falls in Colorado seems so cool with nature around it. I love the reflection the water gives. The view is amazing.

Sure is.
Whenever there is such a weather that the sky is also visible and there are white clouds, then this view is very wonderful and seeing such a beautiful place gives a lot of peace to the human heart and worries. I don't remember at all.
