Absolutely INSANE Sunset - But I Failed

You know that Im always on the lookout and chasing awesome looking glowing sunsets. Well, yesterday we had one of the most, if not the most awesome looking glowing sunset of this year. Unfortunately, I was in a middle of the city at the time and even more sadly, I didn't have my camera, at hand with me. That was super frustrating but it is what it is sometimes. I snapped some shots with my phone.

What made this sunset look very unique wasn't only the glowing sunset. It glowed in a direction, in the sky, where sunset does not happen. So the lighting was very unusual. The view to the west direction was also very dramatic-looking with these kinda doomsday-like clouds.

It looks like this because there are low-level clouds that reach possibly kilometers higher to mid-level and the sun shines on them just from the right angle. The result is this epic looking sunset, in the direction where sunsets dont happen this time a year.

This is in the direction of the sunset. Although my view is obstructed by a god-forsaken Audi building.

And this is in the north direction. Sky glowing all around, in every possible direction.

If I had my camera and I would have been able to be in somewhere scenic. I would have probably gotten some really epic shots. There is always next time...
