Hello Black and White #Hive friends!... Walking the streets of São Paulo is to encounter a universe of stories told in silence, in glances, in everyday gestures that often go unnoticed. The camera becomes more than an instrument; it's a link between the moment and memory, between the chaos and the poetry hidden in the alleys, corners, and avenues of this city that never sleeps. My photographs seek precisely this: to capture the moment that carries within it the power of real life. I don't seek beauty that fits into perfect frames, but rather that which reveals itself in the imperfect, the unfinished, the improvised. Because it is in this raw, unvarnished space that the city reveals its most honest face. Each camera shot is an attempt to freeze that which lasts only a second, but which continues to resonate long beyond the time of the click.

Caminhar pelas ruas de São Paulo é se deparar com um universo de histórias contadas em silêncio, em olhares, em gestos cotidianos que, muitas vezes, passam despercebidos. A câmera se torna mais que um instrumento, é um elo entre o instante e a memória, entre o caos e a poesia escondida nos becos, esquinas e avenidas dessa cidade que nunca dorme. Minhas fotografias buscam justamente isso: capturar o instante que carrega em si a força da vida real. Não procuro a beleza que se encaixa em molduras perfeitas, mas sim aquela que se revela no imperfeito, no inacabado, no improviso. Porque é nesse espaço bruto, sem maquiagem, que a cidade mostra sua face mais honesta. Cada disparo da câmera é uma tentativa de congelar aquilo que dura apenas um segundo, mas que permanece ressoando muito além do tempo do clique.

Going out to photograph the streets of São Paulo is, above all, a immersion in a reality that doesn't fully reveal itself to a hurried eye. The city reveals itself in layers, and every corner holds a fragment of history, every face carries a universe of feelings, every graffitied wall whispers voices of resistance and memory. The camera, in this context, is not just an object: it is an extension of the gaze, a bridge between the instant and eternity.
As I walk the streets, I realize that urban life is made of contrasts. The shine of mirrored buildings coexists with the simplicity of those improvising their survival on a sidewalk. The silence of a gaze lost in the void shares space with the deafening noise of cars and horns. São Paulo pulses at a frenetic pace, but within this chaos there are gaps of delicacy, an unexpected embrace, a shared smile, a pause to breathe amidst the rush.

Sair para fotografar as ruas de São Paulo é, antes de tudo, um mergulho em uma realidade que não se mostra por inteiro a um olhar apressado. A cidade se revela em camadas, e cada esquina guarda um fragmento de história, cada rosto carrega um universo de sentimentos, cada muro grafitado sussurra vozes de resistência e memória. A câmera, nesse contexto, não é apenas um objeto: é uma extensão do olhar, uma ponte entre o instante e a eternidade.
Ao caminhar pelas ruas, percebo que a vida urbana é feita de contrastes. O brilho dos prédios espelhados convive com a simplicidade de quem improvisa sua sobrevivência em uma calçada. O silêncio de um olhar perdido no vazio divide espaço com o barulho ensurdecedor dos carros e buzinas. São Paulo pulsa em um ritmo frenético, mas dentro desse caos existem brechas de delicadeza, um abraço inesperado, um sorriso partilhado, uma pausa para respirar em meio à pressa.
