These photos are born from my attentive walks through the streets, from a gaze that lets itself be carried away by details that, most of the time, go unnoticed. Urban aesthetics have always attracted me not for the obvious, but for what endures: textures worn by time, walls marked by silent stories, wires crossing the sky, shadows drawn on the asphalt, small human gestures diluted in the chaos of the city.
Essas fotos nascem do meu caminhar atento pelas ruas, de um olhar que se deixa levar pelos detalhes que, na maioria das vezes, passam despercebidos. A estética urbana sempre me atraiu não pelo óbvio, mas pelo que resiste: texturas gastas pelo tempo, paredes marcadas por histórias silenciosas, fios cruzando o céu, sombras que se desenham no asfalto, pequenos gestos humanos diluídos no caos da cidade.

The street presents itself as a living organism, in constant transformation. Every detail carries a memory: a graffiti that screams existence, a cracked wall that reveals neglect, an uneven sidewalk that holds the footsteps of those who pass by every day. It is in this raw and imperfect setting that I find beauty. Not a polished beauty, but a real, honest, raw one.
A rua se apresenta como um organismo vivo, em constante transformação. Cada detalhe carrega uma memória, uma pichação que grita existência, um muro rachado que denuncia o abandono, uma calçada irregular que guarda os passos de quem passa todos os dias. É nesse cenário bruto e imperfeito que encontro beleza. Não uma beleza polida, mas real, honesta, crua.

When I photograph, I don't just seek to record the space, but to translate the feeling of belonging and attraction I feel for this urban aesthetic. There is a hidden poetry in the wear and tear, in the improvisation, in the mixture between the human and the concrete. The street speaks through its details, and these images are an attempt to listen to and transform this language into a visual narrative.
Ao fotografar, não busco apenas registrar o espaço, mas traduzir o sentimento de pertencimento e atração que sinto por essa estética urbana. Existe uma poesia escondida no desgaste, no improviso, na mistura entre o humano e o concreto. A rua fala através dos seus detalhes, e essas imagens são uma tentativa de escutar e transformar essa linguagem em narrativa visual.
