Living in São Paulo is like walking inside a living organism. The city breathes, runs, stumbles, reinvents itself. And in the midst of this organized chaos, I walk with my camera in hand, attentive to the details that go unnoticed by most.

Viver em São Paulo é como caminhar dentro de um organismo vivo. A cidade respira, corre, tropeça, se reinventa. E no meio desse caos organizado, eu caminho com a câmera na mão, atento aos detalhes que passam despercebidos pela maioria.

São Paulo is too vast to be summed up in postcards. It's made of extremes: buildings that seem to touch the sky and narrow alleyways where life unfolds in a raw and authentic way. In a single day, I can photograph the imposing architecture in the city center, the rush of people crossing the avenue at a red light, the street vendor who makes a living on the sidewalk, the golden light hitting the concrete at the end of the afternoon.

São Paulo é grande demais para ser resumida em cartões-postais. Ela é feita de extremos: prédios que parecem tocar o céu e vielas estreitas onde a vida acontece de forma crua e verdadeira. Em um mesmo dia, posso fotografar a imponência da arquitetura no centro, a correria de quem atravessa a avenida no sinal vermelho, o vendedor ambulante que transforma a calçada em sustento, a luz dourada batendo no concreto no fim da tarde.

What fascinates me most is this endless array of possibilities. Each neighborhood has its own language. Each street tells a different story. The city offers me contrasts, shadow and light, silence and honking horns, solitude and crowds, and I transform all of that into images.

O que mais me fascina é essa infinidade de possibilidades. Cada bairro tem sua própria linguagem. Cada rua conta uma história diferente. A cidade me oferece contrastes, sombra e luz, silêncio e buzina, solidão e multidão, e eu transformo tudo isso em imagem.

Photographing here isn't just about recording places, it's about collecting situations. It's about noticing the hurried gesture of someone going to work, the distant gaze of someone waiting for the bus, the reflection of a mirrored building blended with the cloudy sky. It's about understanding that the city's greatness lies not only in its size, but in the diversity of stories it holds. São Paulo challenges me and feeds me creatively. It's never the same, and perhaps that's what captivates me. There's always a new angle, a new light, a new narrative waiting to be discovered.

Fotografar aqui não é apenas registrar lugares, é colecionar situações. É perceber o gesto apressado de alguém indo trabalhar, o olhar distante de quem espera o ônibus, o reflexo de um prédio espelhado misturado ao céu nublado. É entender que a grandeza da cidade não está só no tamanho, mas na diversidade de histórias que ela abriga. São Paulo me desafia e me alimenta criativamente. Ela nunca é a mesma, e talvez seja isso que me prende. Sempre há um novo ângulo, uma nova luz, uma nova narrativa esperando para ser descoberta.
