Street photography has always been much more than pressing a button and saving an image. It's about being present, walking without knowing exactly what you'll find, and letting the city tell its own stories. The street is always alive; every day there's a different scene happening, people going through different moments in life, chasing their goals, working, trying to grow, pursuing their dreams, or simply surviving the routine.

A fotografia de rua sempre foi muito mais do que apertar um botão e guardar uma imagem. É sobre estar presente, caminhar sem saber exatamente o que vai encontrar e deixar a cidade mostrar suas próprias histórias. A rua está sempre viva, todo dia existe uma cena diferente acontecendo, pessoas passando por momentos diferentes da vida, correndo atrás dos seus objetivos, trabalhando, tentando crescer, buscando seus sonhos ou simplesmente sobrevivendo à rotina.

In the midst of all this hustle and bustle, there are small moments that go unnoticed by most people, and that's precisely what captivates me about street photography. The possibility of seeing what would normally be ignored. A quick glance, an expression, a conversation, a shadow on the sidewalk, architecture marked by time, or a simple everyday scene that takes on a different meaning when captured.

No meio dessa correria toda existem pequenos momentos que passam despercebidos pela maioria das pessoas, e é justamente isso que me prende na fotografia de rua. A possibilidade de enxergar aquilo que normalmente seria ignorado. Um olhar rápido, uma expressão, uma conversa, uma sombra na calçada, uma arquitetura marcada pelo tempo ou uma cena simples do cotidiano que ganha outro peso quando registrada

The street doesn't wait for anyone to set up their camera; it simply happens. A rua não espera ninguém preparar a câmera, ela simplesmente acontece. E talvez seja isso que torna essa fotografia tão forte: a gente aprende a estar atento, a enxergar além do óbvio e a transformar segundos comuns em memórias que ficam. No final, fotografar a rua é guardar pedaços da vida que passam rápido demais.
