I walk down the street as if walking through my own inner self. The city pulsates, breathes, shouts, whispers, and I am there, attentive. It's not just about photographing, it's about feeling. About noticing the detail that almost no one sees: the tired gaze of someone crossing the street, the cracked texture of the concrete, the shadow that draws another story on the ground.

Eu caminho pela rua como quem caminha por dentro de si. A cidade pulsa, respira, grita, sussurra, e eu estou ali, atento. Não é só sobre fotografar, é sobre sentir. Sobre perceber o detalhe que quase ninguém vê: o olhar cansado de quem atravessa a faixa, a textura rachada do concreto, a sombra que desenha outra história no chão.

The street never stands still. It happens. And perhaps that's what moves me. The unpredictability. The instant that doesn't return. Each click is a snapshot of the city's organized chaos, an attempt to freeze what, in essence, was born to pass.

But when I choose black and white, something changes. Colors cease to distract. The world becomes raw. Honest. The photograph is stripped bare. In black and white, light becomes the protagonist, shadows speak louder, textures gain weight. It's not the absence of color... it's the presence of essence.

Mas quando eu escolho o preto e branco, algo muda. As cores deixam de distrair. O mundo fica cru. Honesto. A fotografia se despe. No preto e branco, a luz vira protagonista, as sombras falam mais alto, as texturas ganham peso. Não é ausência de cor... é presença de essência.

Black and white brings me closer to the soul of the street. It transforms movement into poetry. It builds silence where there was once noise. It removes the excess and reveals the structure. It's as if the city is translated into feelings, not tones. Each photograph I take is a silent conversation between myself and everyday life. I don't just photograph buildings, people, or street corners; I photograph atmospheres. Memories that may never have been remembered. Stories that may never be told. The street taught me to observe. Black and white taught me to feel. And between light, shadow, and concrete, I continue walking, searching for another moment that deserves to exist forever.

O preto e branco me aproxima da alma da rua. Ele transforma movimento em poesia. Constrói silêncio onde antes havia barulho. Tira o excesso e revela a estrutura. É como se a cidade fosse traduzida em sentimentos, não em tons. Cada fotografia que faço é uma conversa silenciosa entre mim e o cotidiano. Eu não fotografo apenas prédios, pessoas ou esquinas, eu fotografo atmosferas. Memórias que talvez nunca tenham sido lembradas. Histórias que talvez nunca sejam contadas. A rua me ensinou a observar. O preto e branco me ensinou a sentir. E entre luz, sombra e concreto, eu continuo caminhando, buscando mais um instante que mereça existir para sempre.
