Holy Week in Cumaná, the joy of the sun / Semana Santa en Cumaná, la alegría del sol
Greetings to the followers of the great @pinmapple community.
On a previous occasion I have shown you the beautiful beach of San Luis, which is the entrance from the sea to the area of the city of Cumaná. It is an eight kilometre long beach, with white sand and crystal clear waters.
This gift of nature is a very precious asset for the people of Cumaná, who flock to it during the holidays as a source of relaxation and distraction. I wanted to leave these photographs as a way to let you know the atmosphere of this beautiful place.

En una ocasión anterior les he mostrado la hermosa Playa de san Luis que es la entrada desde el mar a la zona de la ciudad de Cumaná. Es una playa de ocho kilometr, de blancas arenas y de aguas pasíficas y cristalinas.
Este regalo de la naturaleza es un bien muy preciado por los cumanenses que en las fechas vacacionales acuden masivamente a ella como fuente de relax y distracción. He querrido dejar estas fotografías como un medio de hacerles llegar el ambiente que se se vive en este bonito espacio.
Although we are filled with the wonderful light of the Caribbean and the feeling of joy that the sea provides, what stands out on the beach of St. Louis during the holidays are the high-pitched voices of the children and their joyful faces, inviting each other to play with the waves.
Watching them is contagious and brings back the emotions of childhood.
Mirándolos uno se contagia y vuelve a sentir las emociones de la infancia.
The beach of San Luis is so large and the sand is so wide that it could fit all the inhabitants of the city and there is always room for more people.
The holidays are the perfect opportunity for the whole family to leave home for a day of relaxation and meet up with other family and friends.
The happiness of older adults is particularly exciting.
La playa de San Luis es tan grande y de arenales tan amplios que en ella podrían caber todos los habitantes d e la ciudad y siempre habrá espacio para más gente.
Los días de asueto son la oportunidad errfecta para que la famailia completa salga de casa en busca de un día de relax y allíbse encuentre coon otros familiares y amigos.
Es particularmente emocionante la felicidad de los adutos mayores.
The particular situation of the country, with its process of migration of Venezuelan citizens and capital, has led to the disappearance of most of the businesses that used to supply food and drinks to the bathers on the beach. The people carry their coolers with them, carrying soft drinks for the children and spirits for the adults.
There are still vendors offering sweets, all kinds of local sweets and other handmade products.
La particular situación del país, con su proceso de migración de ciudadanos venezolanos y de capitales hizo desaparercerla mayoría de los los negocios que a la orilla de la playa abastecían de comidas y bebidas a los bañistas. La gente carga con sus cavas donde llevan los refrescos para los niños y las bebidas espirituosas para los adultos.
Aún deambulan vendedores que ofrecen caramelos, toda clase de dulces criollos y otros productos manaufacturados.
Of course there is always music on our beaches in San Luis! There is no lack of those who want to make the most of the enjoyment of nature by making the spectators happy with a good exhibition of dance steps.
Por supesto en nuestras playa de San Luis nunca falta la música! Tqmpoco falta quien quiera llevar al máximo el disfrute de la naturaleza alegrando a los espectadores con una buena exibición de pasos de baile.
Yo espero que hayan disfrutado este paseo entre la gente de Cumaná en la a playa de San Luis!
