Greetings friends of the Wednesday community, I hope you are doing well.

Here again to tell you about a short walk I did this week on the intercomunal avenue Barquisimeto - Cabudare.

This walk was not a walk to relax, not to exercise and much less to shop. I was going to wait for a neighbor who was coming from a trip and I was going to do her the favor of taking her home, but four blocks away from the meeting place, the car broke down and turned off.

I tried to start it several times without success. I checked and realized that it was not getting gas and I could not hear the gas pump. I took the cover off the place where the pump is and gave it a few knocks but nothing.

I remembered that on the corner, about four blocks from there, there was a parts store. I closed the car and walked over there to ask for a battery for the gas pump because that was what I thought had been damaged.

I stood right in front of the IDB clinic building, and liked its facade, with its green mesh-like trellises and elegant flagstone siding. I took several pictures of it as I walked around.

I also passed by the front of a residential complex called “Villa Leo” with a yellow facade, whose name I had heard but did not know where it was, and by a small bridge with trees and low vegetation, which I did not even know existed, although I have passed by there many times by car. I saw many yellow flowers that grow in the area when it rains.

That is why when we walk, is when we can appreciate the goodness of nature and see the details more accurately.

I could also observe from afar the market and the gas station that are on the other side of the avenue and finally I arrived at the sale of spare parts, but I did not get what I was looking for.

On my way back I was thinking of removing the pump and checking the connections, but when I tried to start the car again, it started at the first attempt. I think that the fuel cell is failing and I should change it immediately.

In spite of being a forced ride, I enjoyed the scenery and the details in buildings, streets and avenues.

Caminata de miércoles por la avenida intercomunal

Saludos amigos de la comunidad de los miércoles, espero se encuentren muy bien.

Por acá nuevamente con ustedes para contarles sobre una breve caminata que realicé esta semana en la avenida intercomunal Barquisimeto - Cabudare.

Esta caminata no fue un paseo para relajarme, tampoco para hacer ejercicio y mucho menos para realizar compras. Iba a esperar a una vecina que venía de viaje y yo le iba a hacer el favor de llevarla a casa, pero faltando cuatro cuadras para llegar al sitio del encuentro, el carro hizo una falla y se apagó.

Intenté encenderlo varias veces sin éxito. Revisé y me di cuenta que no le llegaba gasolina y tampoco se escuchaba la bomba de la gasolina. Le quite la tapa al sitio donde esta la bomba y le di unos golpes pero nada.

Recordé que en la esquina, aproximadamente a cuatro cuadras de allí, había una venta de repuestos. Cerré el carro y caminé hasta allá para preguntar por una pila para la la bomba de la gasolina pues era lo que yo pensaba que se había dañado.

Me quedé justo al frente del edificio de la clínica IDB, y me gustó su fachada, con sus enrejados verdes en forma de malla y su elegante revestimiento de lajas. Le tomé varias fotografías a medida que caminaba.

Pase también por el frente de un conjunto residencial llamado "Villa Leo" de fachada amarilla, cuyo nombre había escuchado pero no sabía donde quedaba y por un pequeño puente con árboles y vegetación baja, que ni siquiera sabía que existía, a pesar de que he pasado por allí muchas veces en carro. Contemplé muchas flores amarillas que crecen en la zona cuando hay lluvias.

Es por eso que cuando caminamos, es cuando podemos apreciar las bondades de la naturaleza y ver los detalles con mayor precisión.

También pude observar desde lejos el market y la estación de servicio que quedan del otro lado de la avenida y finalmente llegué a la venta de repuestos, pero no conseguí lo que buscaba.

De regreso iba pensando en sacar la bomba y revisar las conexiones, pero cuando volví a intentar encender el carro arrancó al primer intento. Yo creo que ya la pila de gasolina esta dando falla y debo cambiarla de inmediato.

A pesar de ser un paseo forzado, disfrute del paisaje y de los detalles en edificios, calles y avenidas.
