Today I’ll share with you my experiences from last Sunday at the parish where I serve.

I started my day by attending the noon Sunday Mass with my wife, and then I went to a workshop titled “Love with Humor.”

This activity is part of a series of monthly workshops offered free of charge to couples—whether married or not—to provide them with important tools for maintaining a healthy and happy family.

These workshops are led by psychology professionals and focus primarily on the well-being of couples and families.

On this occasion, Oswaldo, a specialist in couples therapy, dressed up as a clown and led a fun activity that was enjoyed by both adults and children.

To be honest, I was surprised by his ability to entertain and make people laugh—something that’s quite difficult to achieve. However, I later learned that he alternates between his work as a therapist and as a clown for parties and corporate events.

It was a different kind of Sunday afternoon. Several families attended with their children, and the clown had us form a circle and began acting out some very funny exercises related to household chores.

He also led us in games where he played a sound, and we not only had to identify the animal or TV show but also had to sing the show’s theme song.

Everyone in attendance, myself included, was very pleased with the activity because it helped us remember the games we played as children, awakening the child within us. At the end of each game, he explained its meaning and how, through laughter and fun, we could learn and, at the same time, teach our children to be better at what we do.

It was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to relive those beautiful moments from our childhood and brought us closer to our children and family members, fostering the moral and religious values we so desperately need to build a healthy and happy family life.

Viviendo un domingo diferente: amor con humor

Saludos estimados amigos de @dailyblog espero estén disfrutando de un excelente día con mucha salud y bienestar.

Hoy les compartiré mis experiencias vividas el pasado domingo en la parroquia donde presto mis servicios.

Comencé mi dia asistiendo junto a mi esposa a la misa dominical del mediodía, para luego asistir a un taller titulado: "amor con humor".

Esta actividad forma parte de una serie de talleres mensuales que se brinda sin costo alguno a las parejas casadas o no, para facilitarle herramientas importantes para mantener una familia sana y feliz.

Estos talleres son dictados por profesionales de la psicología, dirigidos principalmente al bienestar de la pareja y de la familia.

En esta oportunidad el licenciado Oswaldo, especialista en terapia de parejas, se vistió de payaso y nos hizo una actividad recreativa para el disfrute de grandes y pequeños.

La verdad quedé sorprendido de su capacidad para entretener y hacer reír a la gente, cosa bastante difícil de lograr. Sin embargo, me enteré luego que el licenciado alterna su trabajo de terapista con el de payaso para fiestas y eventos corporativos.

Fue una tarde de domingo diferente. Asistieron varias familias con sus hijos y el payaso nos colocó en un circulo y comenzó a simular unos ejercicios muy cómicos relacionados con las tareas del hogar.

También nos hizo juegos donde colocaba un sonido y no solo habia que identificar el animal o el programa de televisión sino también habia que cantar el tema principal del programa.

Todos los asistentes incluyéndome, quedamos muy satisfechos de la actividad, porque nos ayudó a recordar los juegos que haciamos en la infancia, despertando el niño que vive en nuestro interior. Al terminar cada juego nos explicaba su significado y como mediante risas y diversión podíamos aprender y enseñar a la vez a nuestros hijos a ser mejores en lo que hacemos.

Fue una experiencia inolvidable que nos hizo revivir aquellos bonitos momentos de nuestra infancia y donde pudimos integrarnos mas con nuestros hijos y familiares, estimulando valores morales y religiosos que tanto necesitamos para construir una vida familiar sana y feliz.
