Paseo al Parque Polvoranca | [en/es] 📸

Sigo disfrutando de los espacios al aire libre de Madrid. Esta vez fuimos a conocer el Parque Polvoranca. Ya me habían recomendado este destino como infaltable en mi itinerario, bastó que me dijeran que podría disfrutar plenamente de la naturaleza para inmediatamente sumarlo a mi lista.

Efectivamente, la naturaleza hace gala en ese lugar. Apenas comenzamos el recorrido, fuimos dejando atrás el bullicio de la ciudad para adentrarnos a un ambiente cuya tranquilidad solo se ve empañada por el sonido de las aves y la risa de los niños al jugar.

Es un largo tramo rodeado de árboles que aun se muestran desnudos por el invierno. Ese día en particular el sol no nos honró con su presencia, diría que brilló por su ausencia, lo que le añadió un toque de dramatismo a la escena que disfrutaron mis ojos, y que procuré captar con la cámara de mi celular. Caminamos durante varios minutos ante que finalmente logramos divisar al fondo lo que sabría que conquistaría mis sentidos: un hermoso lago con patos que nadaban plácidamente, como ignorando tal vez las bajas temperaturas.

A lo largo de todo el camino hay bancos estratégicamente dispuestos para invitarte a sentarte un rato y contemplar el paisaje en todo su esplendor. Particularmente me pareció perfecto para disfrutar de una buena lectura, escribir o sencillamente entablar una buena conversa. Mientras tanto, mis hijos aprovecharon para disfrutar los espacios deportivos y recreativos del parque. Entre tirolinas, subibajas y columpios, pasaron una tarde diferente.

Disfrutar la naturaleza para mi siempre será un buen plan, por fortuna es una pasión que compartimos en familia. Mis hijos quedaron muy animados con el Parque Polvoranca, sobre todo porque es ideal para correr bicicleta y patinar a sus anchas; así que ya tenemos planes para una próxima visita que incluya un picnic y mucha diversión.

Algo que debo destacar de Madrid es que aquí hay muchos lugares abiertos para hacer deporte y disfrutar de los paisajes naturales, es algo que de verdad me tiene fascinada. La verdad, hay muchas opciones a la hora de pasar un rato diferente y compartir con la familia sin que ello suponga necesariamente gastos extras. Aquí es posible pasarla bien de la mejor manera y con muy bajo presupuesto.

I am still enjoying Madrid's outdoor spaces. This time, we went to visit Polvoranca Park. I had already been recommended this destination as a must-visit, and as soon as they told me I could fully enjoy nature, I immediately added it to my list.

Indeed, nature is showcased in this place. As soon as we started the journey, we left behind the hustle and bustle of the city to enter an environment whose tranquility is only disturbed by the sound of birds and the laughter of children playing.

It is a long stretch surrounded by trees that are still bare due to the winter season. On that particular day, the sun did not grace us with its presence, and I would say that it was conspicuous by its absence, which added a touch of drama to the scene that my eyes enjoyed, and that I tried to capture with the camera on my phone. We walked for several minutes before finally glimpsing what I knew would conquer my senses: a beautiful lake with ducks swimming placidly as if ignoring the low temperatures.

All along the way, there are strategically placed benches to invite you to sit for a while and contemplate the scenery in all its splendor. I found it particularly perfect for enjoying a good book, writing, or simply engaging in a good conversation. Meanwhile, my children took advantage of the park's sports and recreational areas. Among zip lines, seesaws, and swings, they spent a different afternoon.

Enjoying nature will always be a good plan for me, fortunately, it is a passion that we share as a family. My kids loved Polvoranca Park, especially because it is ideal for riding bikes and skating freely. So we already have plans for an upcoming visit that includes a picnic and lots of fun.

Something that I must highlight about Madrid is that there are many open places to exercise and enjoy natural landscapes; it is something that really fascinates me. The truth is that there are many options when it comes to spending a different time and sharing with the family without necessarily incurring extra expenses. Here, it is possible to have a good time in the best way and with a very low budget.
