No, no estoy loca… o sí, quién sabe xD. Lo cierto es que estoy consciente de que es martes; sin embargo, la semana escolar ya terminó. Mañana es feriado local, el jueves es feriado nacional, y el viernes es algún otro feriado que ni siquiera sé cuál es. De manera que desde hoy hasta el lunes no habrá actividades escolares.

Sé que para el teletrabajo no hay horarios ni fechas en el calendario, por lo tanto, todos esos días libres nada tienen que ver con mi actividad laboral. Pero el simple hecho de no tener que despertarme con la alarma para cumplir con los horarios del colegio es motivo de felicidad absoluta, incluso si sé que estaré despierta mucho antes de esa hora.

Dado que mis hijos disfrutarán de un súper puente de 5 días libres, yo me uno a la diversión fingiendo tenerlos también, así que hoy me pasé de switch y perdí la compostura entre hamburguesas, batidos de chocolate y una rica barquilla de vainilla. No, I’m not crazy… or maybe I am, who knows xD. The truth is that I’m aware it’s Tuesday, but the school week is already over. Tomorrow is a local holiday, Thursday is a national holiday, and Friday is some other holiday that I don’t even know what it is. So, from today until Monday, there won’t be any school activities.

I know that for remote work, there are no schedules or calendar dates, so all these days off have nothing to do with my work activity. But the simple fact of not having to wake up to the alarm to meet the school schedules is a reason for absolute happiness, even if I know I’ll be awake long before that time.

Since my kids will be enjoying a super long weekend of 5 days off, I'm joining the fun by pretending to have them too, so today I switched it up and lost my composure between burgers, chocolate milkshakes, and a tasty vanilla waffle. I hope the scales are kind to my soul... and my weight.
