I think i was born right at the tail end of whatever era this was. I remember lots of houses with that awful walpaper. Now you rarely see wallpaper at all let alone those "fancy" ones that had raised velvet patterns on them that encouraged kids to mess with it until they broke it.

I can remember wallpaper in my parents house as late as the early 1990s. Of course, it was a little more modern than this. But yeah, it has been forever since I have seen wallpaper of any kind in a house.
