Is the weather in Portugal warm right now?
Where I live there is still the cold of winter.
I was struck by the fact that carnivals originated in ancient pagan festivals.
It's funny that the Catholic Church tried to ban carnival, but it was impossible.
I was surprised by how colorful and adult the carnivals in Brazil are. Brazilian women's carnival bikini outfits are both attractive and shocking.
On the other hand, it's funny that the Portuguese carnival is more ascetic.
I was amazed at the mix of blonde and brown-haired whites and dark-skinned children among the Portuguese children!
