Passion of Christ in Dalaguete | Cenakulo

On many occasions, I've been invited by my photographer friends to join in capturing photos of the annual "Cenakulo" in our municipality, and this time, I didn't miss the opportunity. I immediately prepared my old Canon 80D camera with the 18-135mm kit lens.

Before, I hesitated to join the Photo Walk with friends because I was already left behind regarding Camera Model and Lens. I felt a bit embarrassed to join the gathering because my friends have expensive cameras, full-frame and mirrorless ones. But despite their high-end equipment, I didn't hesitate to capture these images.

The young actors portraying various characters, whose stories we often read in the Holy Scriptures, never fail to give me goosebumps. It was an amazing experience for all of us. And again my old camera never disappoints me in capturing images that can tell a story.

For those non-catholic friends a "Cenakulo" is a portrayal of the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It is a solemn event that every Roman Catholic must witness to experience and reflect on the sacrifices done by Jesus Christ.

I hope you will appreciate the photos I captured, even though I only used an inexpensive camera. And also I am very grateful to the people behind this event. The Sacrifices done by Jesus Christ were never easy. Always pray and appreciate small wins and blessings in life.

Thanks, it's all about sacrifice, and real-talk because of the heat of the sun, I got sunburned just to capture these wonderful photos. I'm happy you appreciate
