Visiting The Misamis Oriental Shorelines

The weather was good when I went to that place. The sun's rays are already touching the ocean signaling that the sun is about to set. In fact, many people come to this place to watch the beautiful sunset and there are also people who get food for dinner such as crab, shrimp and many others.

The photo shows people happily walking on the beach and taking pictures. There are also busy people looking for crabs, shrimps and fish hidden in big rocks so that every family has a free dish. It's good that this place is so clean that people who come here have a lot of fun. The water drops a lot or I call it low tide so many big and small rocks are visible.

As I continued to walk along the beach, I saw this type of animal that lives in the sea that I call a brittle fish, a type of starfish with long tentacles and sharp parts of its body and tentacles. It doesn't bite but just looks scary, it usually hides under rocks and only comes out at high tide. There are many of this type of star fish in this area because there are as many rocks as it can be found.

This is a type of sponge that is just hidden in the rocks. When you touch it, water immediately comes out of it. It is also a type of sea anemone where small fish usually live. It folds at low tide and opens at high tide. Its appearance is terrifying but it does not bite or destroy nature. There are also large types of sponges that can be found here, because it depends on the rock they cling to.

This is what we call Mangrove. This is very important for beaches like this because it helps to prevent the area from being damaged by strong and large waves. It also serves as a home for various types of animals that live in the sea. Another area here in Misamis Oriental has implemented a program for planting mangroves to maintain the beauty and order of the area.

Other parts of the area on this beach are sandy with small stones or peebles. These are crushed corals due to the strong waves hitting the beach. There are also people who take it for aquarium or any decorations that beautify the house. Most of the stones seen here are white in color so it adds to the beauty of the place. Also broken sea shells that can be seen here, different types of designs, sizes, sizes and colors that attract people's eyes.

This is what we call Pagang, a kind of sharp stone. It is not possible to walk through it because of sharp stones like this. It is really necessary to wear slippers to protect our feet. This is also where sea creatures such as oysters cling. It is a type of corals, but due to the strong waves, it was gradually crushed and became sharp.

It is a kind of very old road. It is connected to the coast of Calangahan in Lugait Misamis Oriental. It serves as a passage for people who don't want to get stuck in the war between the Americans and the Japanese. This road is very old and with the passage of time it was gradually reached by the sea water and it was completely destroyed. That used to be an asphalt road but now it has been swallowed by sea water. I couldn't believe it because in the past it was a road but now it has become a coast.

This is a very tall staircase, this staircase has been in place for almost 100 years. I can't fully imagine how beautiful it must have been in the old days. Their constructions are very durable and are still being used today.
Many people also pass by here because it serves as a shortcut to people who live near the area. Other ancient structures were as solidly built as this tall staircase.
My wandering this afternoon ended successfully. I'm happy because the people who live here near the coast are really taking good care of it.
