Visiting Our Vacant Lot

We have been blessed with beautiful places in this world and it is up to us to enrich them and use them in beautiful ways. Tonight I will share with you my visit to one of our places here in the Province of Misamis Oriental. I haven't visited here in quite some time and only mom and dad come here. So that you can see such a place that I went to, I will accompany you on my journey and visit.

Since I had nothing to do at home, I thought of going to the lot that belonged to my grandfather. It has not been used for a long time as the cultivation of vegetables, fruits and other plants that can be eaten or sold in the market. All parts of the area are very overgrown with tall cogon grasses and other weeds. But when I visited the place earlier, I really saw how thick the grass is here. But there is also a part of the area that is being gradually cleaned because of the plan to grow vegetables.

Kaimito Tree:

Even though no fruit trees have been planted here, there have already been fruits like this kaimito tree or starapple as we call it. I wondered why it grew here, there are no plants here in such a place. We just let it grow to be a man so that the children can benefit from its fruits. People like to eat kaimito fruit and it can also be sold in the market.

There are also Germilina trees here too. In fact, this is what we use as the floor and pillars in our house. This place is beautiful with trees like Germilina. It can also be sold to sellers of wood such as lumber. There are also strong trees that grow here such as Tugas which we call mahogany. All of these can be used at home and as fuel for cooking food.

A Big Fly and Spider:

As long as the area is dense and there are grasses and trees around, there are different types of insects like this bee and spider that I saw while I was in the area. They are entertaining to look at because of their style to survive. They each have their own way of finding food and I think they will find food because of the vastness of the area where only grass and trees can be seen. We only allow the spiders that live in the area because they help catch other insects such as mosquitoes.

Fungi And Mushroom Photo Collections:

There are also different types of mushrooms that can be found here in the area. These are just a few of the mushrooms I photographed and all of them are inedible and purely decorative. It is often found or growing in cool places such as under dead wood, weeds and on rocks. I was completely amazed by what I saw earlier because of their unique design, color and size.

Tri-Leaf Plant:

There are ornamental plants found here in our area. One of them is this plant that we call Tri-leaf. When plants became fashionable there were many gardeners looking for them to plant in flower pots or landscape methods. It is easy to grow, just put fertile soil on the cut tri-leaf stem and water it. It will grow in two weeks.

Another successful visit to our little farm. The next day it will be planted with bananas and vegetables to further benefit the area. In this day and age, one must be wise in everything such as planting so as not to spend a lot more.
