Visiting At My Grandmother's Place

I really love to take a travel in a relaxing place just like here in the Province. Yesterday, I was planning to take a visit on my grandmother's place because its been a long time since I can't take a visit on their place.

Our home is far away from my Grandparents house and it needs to walk a few mile away before we arrived at the place. There are a lot of fascinating place can be seen during my travel and all of it are involves with Nature.

The first place I was passing by is this dried stream. There are some rock pools located in the place and it is very fascinating and very enjoyed to see. This was caused by a great flood happens in this place way back 25 years ago. This place will contains more water if there is a heavy rain and it will dries if there is an extremely heat comes from the sun. There are many adventurous people loves to go in this place and doing Their activities just like bikings and hikings.

Near at the stream was this small bamboos called, BAGAKAY. This is very perfect for making baskets and other kinds of materials used for farmings. This kind of bamboos loves to grow near at the swamp and moist areas and it contains a warm place because of its leaves and shady place.

This is a tall and old tree and we named it, ATIPOLO. This kind of tree is very perfect for making boxes and fence. This is one of the tallest tree here in our place and it is also very helpful so that the place will not be eroded. It contains a big leaves and many birds are berching here in this tree. This tree was already grows 75 years ago according to my GrandFather and their are many historical happenings near at this tree.

This place contains many planted Germilina trees. I really amazed of the place I seen because even if the place is very slope, still there are many kinds of fruit bearing trees and other trees used for housing porpuses. Germilina is very perfect for furnitures, cabinets and other kinds of housing porpuses. It is also good for making firewoods and preventing the place from soil erosions due to heavy rains and floods.

This is one of the greatest walking adventure to me because I passed many kinds of difficult and challenging roads just like this one. In order for me to get to the road, it needs to pass here in this grassy place and we called this grass, COGON. It contains very sharp and itchy leaves and there are no other way I can get through except this place. So I need to walk here very carefully and tried to avoid the leaves to contacts in the skin because it can creates wounds.

During my traveling adventure, I noticed this manggo flowers near at the road. It was very fascinating because the manggo tree is full of flowers and it means that it will bare more fruits on the next day. The owner of this tree were so very lucky to have this kind of plants and the only things to do is to take care of it. There are many manggo trees at my Grandmother's place and this is one of their primary source of income aside from banana.

Their are a lot of my childhood memories happens in this place just like fishing and swimming. This was the second stream I pass during my travel and the place is not change, a place full of trees, wild plants and fishes. I am very to see that the place remains fascinating and beautiful. Its been a long time since I come back and pass here in this stream.

This are my Grandma's manggo trees. This is one of their primary source of income. They sell the fruit to the market place, I am very surprised the time when I seen some of the trees. It really grown up and the vacant place was already filled with many crops and banana plants.

They also build pig pen and it is under construction. Pig raising is also good here in this place and this is very perfect investment for them here. I really wish that my Grandmother's plan about pig raising will be successful.

Before I went back home, I asked my Grandma to have this kind of vegetables and we called it, ALIKWAY. This is very delicious and it is good for fish soup. I also cut the branches so that I can also plant it to my garden and I really amazed of my little cousin because She also help me gathering those branches. It was a very enjoyable travel moments happen to my Life and soon I will visit my Grandma's place again.
