My Travel Adventure Day: Visiting Sta. Cruz Place

Manticao Misamis Oriental contains of many mountains and these are some of the place can give a fascinating place in the town. As for that, many people came from far away places loves to visit here in our place just to experience some adventuristic activities and see how beautiful our town is. For this blog, allow me to share some of the pictures I captured during my travel . Since when I was a kid, I already loves to travel around near our residence, in order for all of you to imagine the place and know the situation I will start to share my traveling experience.

You can see this old big tree stands in the middle of the plain and this tree is what we called, Bangkal. This kind of tree contains many thorns on its stem but it gives a big rule in the wild life just like birds. This tree is serve as the habitat to all birds in the place and we are very enjoyed watching the birds flying around.

The place was covered with many different kinds of plants and trees but there are also some portion of the areas does not have any trees grows. As I observed the area were I've been, I noticed and feel how fresh and coolness the place was. The wind breeze and the birds were tweeting and for me, it means that they are very happy in the place they also been. Our town was filled with many kinds of bamboos just like this one and this is one of the most important here because we can used this as building house porpuses such like floors, walls and even roof. There are also many kinds of products out of the bamboo and some of this are, baskets, boxes, lanterns, pots and many more. It can help also by preventing the place from being eroded and it can brings the coolness of the place.

As I reached in the cross part of the place, I noticed this clean area and it was very relaxing and peaceful because there wasn't noise. Only the tweeting of the birds and breeze can only hear in this place. I also noticed that the area contains many coconut plants and I was very amazed of what I've seen. I remember in our place when my Father dump also organic trash in the coconut tree so it will make as an organic fertilizer and as the owner of this land did. This is a good way so that the will remain its healthy soil and chemical free.

I was also really amazed here when I seen this massive banana plants grows in the place. In our land, I already planned to plant more bananas because this is one of the most in-demand in our Public Market. Banana bares its fruits when it reach 9 months depends of the soil on how fertile it is. Almost 500 banana plants already planted in here and some of it are already bares fruit and harvested. The banana plants grows very healthy and soon some of the fruits here will be harvested.

Manggo is also one of in-demand products here in our town so some of my neighbors are planting more manggo trees just like this one. This massive manggo trees is located at Zone 23, Poblacion Manticao Misamis Oriental and many times have already harvested this manggo tree. The fertilizer they used was animal manure and this is good for fertilizer uses. Back in many years, this was a rice field and it turns into a place of manggo trees.

There is also some parts of the area that contains rice field place. But for now, there are still no grains planted in here and it needs to cultivate and remove all unecessary plant just like Kangkong. Kangkong is not really important if we plant grains but this is perfect for animal feeds. This kind of plants grows anywhere and it is common.

We are experiencing a bad weather here in the Philippines particularly here in Mindanao. That is why, there is a small floods happens here in our place. Because of the heavy rain, this big pile of bamboo are colapsing and eroded. The bamboos are already in the water and we are very worried about it.

I also share this delicious food I ate while ago and this are what we called, Tortang talong a kind of eggplant mixed with egg and fried. Also this delicious bitter gourd or ampalaya in local term is also delicious. It is good to eat delicious and healthy food so that our body will always be healthy.
