Calangahan Coastal Areas- A Place Full of Wonderful Views and Sceneries

Many bloggers and photographers likes to visit this coastal areas to take lots of photos and it is also known in other places near in this Barangay. Calangahan is one of the Barangay located in the Municipality of Lugait, Misamis Oriental and this place is compost with hills or high areas and the also coastal place. There are no beach resorts built here and it only contains a Natural beauty of Nature. From Barangay Poblacion located in Municipality of Manticao, it only takes a few minutes of travel before reaching the place. Travel fair costs up to 20 Pesos per passenger riding on a tricycle, jeepneys, buses or motorcycles. There was new excavation road here and it helps to all residents to have their shortcut road and they can avoided in crowded main street near in this Barangay.

For many years has past, this wonderful structure of a house located at the middle of the salt sea water has been finally reconstructed. If we visited this place, the first and perfect areas we can visit is this structure located at the middle of the sea. It is very attractive and very unique kind of structure that the resident built and it is till intact and can't destroyed by big and rough waves because of it strong foundation.

The last time I visited this place, inside of the structure was only big pile of rocks and corals and now it is completely reconstructed and filled with concrete so visitors can get inside of this unique structures. Every hightide, the concrete floor in this structure will be reached by sea water and even waves can get at the top of the concrete floor. Decorated with flaglettes on each side so the place will be more attractive by tourists or for those who loves to visit the coast.

Near at the structure is the deep sea water in fact there a lots of beach goers and adventurists wants to swim here and if we want some really more fun and adventuristic, riding on a small boats is also good in here. Every low tide, this place will completely shown at the surface particularly the sea bed and tons of fine sands can be seen here and few big coral rocks. Sometimes, there are fishermen set sail here and casting their nets here to catch lots of fish for their business or family consumptions. Even children, they also take for a swim here and for those who will take a swim here will really have a good time.

This long concrete trail is served as a bridge or pathways going to the structure at the sea. It takes only few minutes of walking here before reaching the place and each side contains deep sea water. This concrete trail is built very perfectly and lots of big rocks and corals are piled up before pouring the concrete. It is a little bit scary when we walked here because of the waves but despite of that, it is very enjoyable and truly an adventuristic one.

Hundreds of houses built near at the coastal areas and to keep away from erosion problems brought by big and rough waves, they also built concrete walls at the coastal site before building their houses. The houses built very unique and small so it wont destroyed by strong wind everytime when there is a bad weather happens here.

If we walk to the shore, we can see and found tons of fine sands and it also brings an attractiveness of the place. Tourists can walk at the coast without wearing slippers and sandals. Aside of that, it is a perfect place to do camping trips, picnics together with families and friends.

Boating is also very popular here in fact there are lolotsf small boats can used by tourists, the boat owner also used this unique boats to catched lots of fish and they placed in dry land were rough and big waves can't reach it. There is also a waitingshed and perfect to rest or spotting any wonderful views using telescopes.
