Our Successful Youth Development Session at Cabalantian National High School! All Students were Very Good! 🤗😇😊

As we continue our journey, we definitely experience and learned a lot, and just today I will be sharing an opportunity for me to share my knowledge with this young generation during our YDS Session or Youth Development Session.

It was indeed a great opportunity as I was not only the one who will learn but most especially to this Students, wnd and together with me is one of the Municipal Link from the DSWD.

I am excited to share this happening with all of you here in the Community, and I am glad to be here. I just want to thank you first, all of you my fellow Filipino Hivers and to all my supporters.

This schedule we have for YDS should be done last Friday but due to a Recognition Program held at the School, we were not be able to do the schedule and requested by the DSWD to reschedule it and it happened today, Tuesday.

It will be scheduled by 10:00 in the morning that is around 9:45 in the morning, we went to the School which is the Cabalantian National High School, and the Grade level where we going to have the YDS is the Grade 12 Students.

Now that the time had finally come, we immediately went to the classroom where I was assigned and together with me is the Municipal Link, in which she will be facilitating and helped me while, I will be the who will discuss the topic.

The topic that has been given is very important most especially to this young people who had a dream for their future. It is all about "Professional and Business Ethics".

I thank God for the DSWD already given to me the topic a few weeks ago, so I can study what I am about to share and discuss. It is good to share my insights about this topic knowing that this Students will definitely starts another chapter of their life after Schooling.

After the discussion of the topic that has been given to us, the DSWD Officer that is with me divide the class into 3 groups for we will be having a group activity.

We have been given them a scenario each group in which they need to answer the questions that has been given to them. They will be given only 10 minutes to discuss each members of the group and they need to summarize it so they're be able to report it after.

It is nice to see at this moments that the students were participating in the group activity that has been given to them, this proves that they're very interesting to learn and share what they have learned.

After 10 minutes, the time has finally come for them to share what they've understand in the scenario and to the questions that gives to them. Each group has been given only a few minutes to share.

The first group that called to share is the Group 3 in which they've been given a scenario about cheating problem. A typical issue that a school may have but based on their report, cheating is not ethical and being honest to yourself must prevail above all.

The 2nd group was now then called were their scenario will be all about a classmate that didn't help the group activity but wants the same grade. They've shared that it is still unethical for, in a group activity everyone should participate and contribute to gain same credit.

Lastly the last group was called with the scenario of Copy-Paste. They have a classmate who copied the whole article in the internet or used an AI but still received a big grade. This is still unethical and based on their report, we must be honest to ourselves us a student and it should be reported for them to learn a lesson.

I thank and praise God for they've really learned a lot from the discussion and I do believe that what they have learned will be applied in reality. It is really good to see such a Student like them who were very actively participating in the class discussion.

To ended up this session we have today, we have then a picture taking as our remembrance and for documentation purposes.

I am thankful and glad to be here with this young people ans this Students. I just pray that I will again be given a chance to be back here to teach and share some inspiration in life.

After a while finally it is now time for us to leave as it is also end of the time that has been given to us by the School. Together with my Co-Facilitator and from the DSWD Officers, we thank God for a successful event and we just got home happy and blessed.
