A Day in My Life Blog: My Bonding Moments with My Girlfriend's Son and the Last Night Funeral Service at My Girlfriend's Grandmother Wake! 😊🤗😇

Today is another day that God has given to me to share another blog post here in the community as my "A Day in My Life" blog, and I am happy to share it here with all of you.

What I am about to share is the day where I and my Girlfriend's Son went out to bond and another is the funeral service we have held at my Girlfriend's Grandmother who passed away.

I have too many to share today but never I forget to express my thanksgiving first to all my unending supporters here in the community ever since, from the community admins, curators and also to my co-Hivers.

It is my deepest sorrow when I heard a news that my Girlfriend's Grandmother just passed away last November 2, 2025 in which just this September, she just turned 89 years.

My girlfriend then told me that her whole family will be going to have a funeral service for the last night and when I heard about this, I immediately agreed at the time they invited me to join.

We will be going to the place of my Girlfriend's Grandmother by around 6:00 in the evening that is why, I still have time to bring my Girlfriend's Son to the Barbershop for his haircut.

My Girlfriend's Son just went home after school around 4:30 in the afternoon then immediately we went to the market to find a Barbershop then immediately started his haircut session.

It is still very early to go back to my Girlfriend's house that's why we take the rest of the time to bond and find a restaurant or snacks area to have our bonding moments and at the same time we can eat something.

Near the Barbershop, we can see this Snacks Stall where they sell some delicious and at the same time very affordable. I have ordered immediately so we can eat it before we go back.

While waiting for our ordered snacks to be served, we spent this time to bond and asking him about his schooling and a lot more. Also taking pictures with him at this moment.

After a while, our snacks has finally served and ready to eat. He only likes to eat the French Fries while I've eaten the Fried Sioman and the Hotdog Footlong. We do enjoyed eating and bonding together here, and just around 5:30 in the evening we have finished eating and went back home.

It was around 6:15 when we went to my Girlfriend's Grandmother place in which it took us around an hour of traveling using my motorcycle and thank God for we just arrived safe and sound.

As we arrived, we just rested for a while since it is a bit tiring to travel here because of the rocky road and due to a bad condition this past days, the road is a bit muddy. After a while, we have taken also our dinner before we get started with our funeral service.

That was around 9:00 in the evening when we finally decided to start our funeral service in which the emcee for tonight is my Girlfriend's Sister in Law.

I was also taksed to led the opening prayer then it was immediately followed by the singing of worship to God. We sing an offering of songs to God for even to this kind of situation in life, we should also give thanks and give honor to our God.

After then, it was followed by the sharing of God's Word by my Girlfriend's Father. This time will be the most important part for tonight's funeral service as the Word of God is the food of our soul.

This time, everyone who were here is now seriously listening to the Word of God shared by my Girlfriend's Father. What he shared tonight is the importance to be prepared while we were still alive, for after death we will face judgment from God.

We thank God for this opportunity that He has given to us for it allows us to hear a Word from God. All of our prayer tonight is that, the Word of God will not passed nothing and that they will understand and apply in reality.

It is around 10:45 in the evening when we ended up our funeral service and praying that God will work to each and everyone. We then go to sleep so we can rest for tomorrow is another day.
