A Day in My Life Blog: Our First Strategic Planning and Meeting with the New Set of Youth Department District Officers for our Upcoming District Youth Summer Camp! 🙏😊🤗

I have been very busy this past few days that's why I haven't shared some blog post for four days and I am glad for I am here again with my newest "A Day of My Life" Blog post.

As what I am always doing here, I want to give thanks to all of you my supporters and co-hivers most especially the admins of ASEANHIVE Community and all curators. Above all this, my full thanksgiving to our God for He never leave me and gives me strength all the days of my life.

What I am about to share right now is the happenings during Strategic Planning and Meeting with the new Set of officers for our District here in our Church Organization.

Knowing that we have held a election of new District Officers and yes, we have new District Superintendent, we also have new District Youth Department Representative and I am very happy and glad for I am also appointed to be one of the new set of Executive Committee as Treasurer for our Section.

Our new District Youth Department Representative call for a meeting at Iligan City exclusively for us new officers, and it is also one way for us to know each other as mostly of us are new to the position. It was to be held around 9:00 in the morning.

As early as 8:00 in the morning, I went to the venue for it was a bit far from us, around 45 minutes of travel using my motorcycle and since the venue of the meeting is very new for me and I am not familiar, I need to go early so I have time to look for it. Thank God for I arrived at the venue safe and sound, and many of my co-officers were already present.

After a while, we then went inside the room for our meeting and immediately we started the meeting by an opening prayer led by me and then followed by a short exhortation by our new District Youth Department Representative.

The proper meeting was then officially started that was around 9:50 in the morning as we have lots of important matters to discuss and the most important of it is our upcoming District Youth Summer Camp. This is a big event that we need to discuss much and to prepare with.

After almost three years, this is the next District Youth Summer Camp to be held. What we then need to discuss is the financial aspect as we all know that we need to prepare enough funds for this. Also the flow of the program and other important part of the Camp.

We also need to discuss the safety of the young people and I was also part of the Security Team. This is one of the most important we should address for we expected more or less 600 Campers to attend the said big event.

Around lunchtime, we then take a break and find a place where we can take our lunch and just a few steps away from our meeting place, a nice and very affordable restaurant is located. We have then take our dinner their and all of us are very full.

After we have take our lunch, we then went back to our meeting venue and continued our meeting as we still have few things need to discuss with and around 2:30 in the afternoon, everything is done and we will be having our next meeting at the Campsite by March to follow up everything we have discussed.

We then went home and I thank God for I just got home safe and sound around 3:00 in the afternoon. I then also went to our Church for some important things needed to do.
