A Day in My Life Blog: I Have Attended the 52nd Year National Nutrition Month Celebration of our Barangay held at Our Barangay Covered Court with our Guests from Municipal Government Unit! 😇🤗🙏

The month of July is what we considered as National Nutrition Month Celebration and in connection to this celebration, our Barangay never fails to organized an event about this.

For this year's National Nutrition Month Celebration, the theme is ***"Sa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan" in which this is the 5nd year of the said celebration.

I have an amazing event to share today in my latest "A Day in My Life Blog" post and as what I always do here, I will first give thanks and appreciation to all my supporters. From the Admins, to all Curators and even to all commenters, thank you always for the support and I appreciate you all.

The National Nutrition Month Celebration is already announced during our Purok Monthly Meeting held at our Purok-3 Waiting Shed last second Saturday of this month.

During the meeting, our Purok President discussed to us of what we should do and why is it important for us to participate in the said celebration. We thank God for during the meeting, everyone is well explain and we need to help each other for the success of thw event.

The National Nutrition Month Celebration is scheduled to happen by the afternoon of July 20, 2026 and by the morning, everyone already arranged each tables with all the vegetables and other products that each Purok prepared.

As I arrived in the venue which is at the Covered Court, the program is already started and I can see that all 10 Puroks have their own tables with the Go, Glow and Grow Foods and all have presented their tables very well.

In a few minutes, our invited guests have finally arrived which are our Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor, some Councilors and also some Employees of the Municipality most especially to those who are under Health and Wellness.

Now they have been given a time to speech as it is also a privilege for us Citizen of the community that our Municipal Government is Officers have attended this celebration.

Each one of them started from our Municipal Mayor who give thanks to the Barangay Officials for doing this event and also to all of us who have attended, as this will not be happen without the help and coordination by each and everyone of us.

It was also then followed by our Vice Mayor and some Municipal Councilors in which they have also shared to us an insightful message most especially about nutrition and to have our own gardens in our home as it will helped us financially and for the good health of the family.

It took around 3:30 when the first part of the program has finally over which is by sharing messages from our guests and even from our Barangay Officials, and now we will be going to the next part.

The next part of the program is the judging of each Purok's Nutritional Table. It was judged by our guests from the Municipal Office under Health and Nutrition.

What they needed to judged is the Table Display containing all the Vegetables, Fruits and other Nutritious foods that our body needed. It should be be well displayed and also to checked it freshness.

Other contest to judged is the Food Display Contest. The judges now started tasting all the foods being prepared by each Purok and we can see that they're happy eating all of the foods but only one will win.

One thing very exciting after the judging of Table Display and other contests is the selling of all products and goods being displayed here with a very low prices.

Many products and goods were displayed and many people who were here wanted to buy some from it. That is why, when the judging is finished, many people immediately bought what they needed to buy before nothing left knowing that many people will buy too.

I have also bought some fruits and vegetables as it has a very low prices as compared to the Market. It took me a while as many people were also buying together with me.

The result of the contest is not yet out but I needed to go home because my Nephew's Schooling will end by a few minutes. And so, I have went back home after and went to the School of my Nephew to get him.
