A Day in My Life Blog: Our VRAM Meeting and the Oath Taking Ceremony of the New Set of Officers! 😇😊☺️

Being part on an organization or I consider it as a Ministry is a privilege for me knowing that it is my passion and a joy in my heart to be used by God for His glory.

Just recently, we have held our Monthly Meeting for our Non-governmental Organization, VRAM or Values Restoration Advocate for Mindanao, and at this month's meeting the new set of Officers will be having their Oath Taking Ceremony.

I am have to share the happenings during that event but before I continue sharing, let me share my thanksgiving first to all my fellow supporters all over the World. From the Community Admins down to all the Curators.

The schedule of the meeting was to be held every third Monday of every month and it will be held in different Churches of the Province under the District 2 and this month, it will be held at the Church located at Libertad Misamis Oriental.

The meeting is scheduled to happen by 9:00 in the morning that is why by 7:00 in the morning, I already did what I needed to do in our house so everything will be fine.

By 8:00 in the morning, I have finished taking my breakfast and have a bath then I prepare to leave knowing that the venue of our meeting is a bit far which consume me more or less 30 minutes of travel.

I arrived at the venue of our meeting around 9:15 in the morning, although I was a bit late thankfully the meeting is not yet started as we have a visitor that we are about to wait.

By 10:00 in the morning, our visitor had finally arrived and it is now time to officially start our meeting. It was first started with an opening prayer then followed by the praise and worship led by one of the Pastor who is also the Emcee.

After our Praise and Worship, it was then immediately followed by the sharing of God's Word and since the meeting is held at this Church located in the Municipality of Libertad, the Host Pastor will be the one assigned to share the Word of God.

The Word of God that has been shared by the Host Pastor is truly a reminder for us. She first shared a summary of her life story and it was really an encouragement for us to hear her life experiences as a Woman of God. She added that as a servant of God we should always be a good example in all areas of our lives to have a good image to the people that surrounds us.

The first part of our meeting was finally done and now it is time for the main part which is the meeting proper. The main reason or agenda for today's meeting is the Oath Taking Ceremony in which we have a visitor from the Regional Office of the DSWD in which he is the one going to induct the new set of Officers.

It was initiated by the new elected Chairman of our District, to officially start our meeting. Among the new set of Officers, I am also one of them as one of the new P.I.O or Public Information Officer. I am very glad and it is my pleasure to be elected for this position.

All the Officers are now call to go in front to formally start t he Oath Taking Ceremony. It was also initiated by the Provincial Officer, he formally introduced the names and position of each Officer to the Regional Officer who will be doing the induction.

After a while, the induction of Officer is now officially started. The Regional Officer states the context of the Oath Taking in which it is an agreement between us and the organization. It takes only around 10 minutes and the Oath Taking Ceremony has finally done successfully.

Now that the Oath Taking Ceremony is done, it is now official that we have a new set of Officers for the VRAM District 2 and I am one of them as P.I.O.

Our visitor the Regional Officer of DSWD was now then given a time to congratulate and share his thoughts and update about VRAM and most especially the FDS Session where we have a MOA or Memorandum of Agreement.

Here we have heard some important and good news from them in which this is what we are waiting for. They have shared an update that we will be going to hold an FDS Session for the 4P's beneficiaries by June, a month after the Election. As we heard about this, all of us are now happy and excited.

The Oath Taking Ceremony and other part of the second part of our meeting has finally done and since it is already lunch time. We have now then take our break and have our lunch.

The Host Church had prepared lots of foods for our lunch and that makes us very full. In the afternoon, we don't have anything to discuss that is why our new Chairman decided to dismiss our meeting and then we went home after. Thank God for I just got home safe and sound.
