A Day in My Life Blog: Our Simple but Very Memorable Mother's Day Celebration in our Church 🙏😇🥰

The Month of May Mother's Day month and here in our Church, we celebrate it every last Sunday of May and this is what I am about to share here on my "A Day in My Life".

Our much-awaited Mother's Day Celebration happened after our Church Divine Service.

The Church service started around 9:00 in the morning in which I was the service in charge and I am glad to be assigned as it was also a privilege for me this day.

We started it with welcome songs first to God, then it followed everyone who is here in our Church, especially the Mothers that we have right now joining our simple celebration.

We also have some sharing of testimonies from some of our Church members that are very inspiring for all of us and we are very glad about that.

It is followed by our Praise and Worship leader by one of our Church's Praise and Worship leaders and her name is Jicel. Here we take this moment to overall ourselves to God alone for everything we have is from Him

The last part before our Mother's Day Celebration started was the sharing of God's Word, and since it is intended for all Mothers, the speaker for today's divine service is also a Mother the wife of our Senior Pastor who is also a servant of God.

Here, she shared with us some characteristics that a woman or a mother should possess and it was indeed a great message for all our Mothers who are present right now.

Finally, we are here now on our Mother's Day Celebration and since I was the service in charge, I am allowed to make my program for this. What I did was to call all our Mothers to come in front and while they were in the front, we called some of the young people who were present to share a message for their mothers.

What a great moment for all of us to share a special message at the same time to give some flowers and gifts that they might like to have. As they continued to share their message, we could not stop them from crying for joy and for being very thankful to all of them.

Many of the young people have shared their message even me, and now for the last who will give a message is our Senior Pastor as he will also be the one who will declare blessings and prayers for all of them.

Everything went very well and we give thanks to God for this. As our simple celebration officially ended, I also never missed the time to take a picture with my Mama and give thanks to God for having her as my mother.
