A Day in My Life Blog: A Successful Training and Seminar for our Vacation Bible School for the Kids held at AG Pala-o, Iligan City! 😇😊☺️

We have again ended another month with is the month of April with full of events and happenings to share here in the community. One event that is worthy to share here is the successfully concluded training and seminar for our upcoming VBS or Vacation Bible School for the Kids.

This VBS is a one week Bible Schooling of the Kids this vacation and summer season, and were expecting that many little Kids will join. But before we will about to implement the VBS, we need to be trained and informed of what to do during the VBS. That is why we have a training and seminar.

Now, this is what I am about to share today, but as always, before anything else, I would like to share my gratitude and thanksgiving to everyone most especially to all my supporters from then and now.

The VBS is a new program implemented here in our organization, in which it is said that it is mandatory for us Churches to handle or implement this in our Churches. That is why, we really need this training and seminar because this will helps us during the implementation.

The training and seminar was already announced many weeks ago and this happened last Saturday whole day. At the time I know this, I am very excited that is why on the day of our event, I prepared very early so I can arrived early as I can in the venue which almost an hour of travel.

Knowing that the venue is a bit far from me, I arrived at the venue late and the few lecturers were already started sharing the introductions and purpose of this VBS Program. Thank God for it is not the proper training and seminar yet.

After a while the proper part or the lecturers that will going to share what the VBS all about and the process in implementing it is now started. We have lecturers in which they were the teaching us we should do in the actual VBS Session.

It is nice to know the way they make the training and seminar because even them who will teach us will able to act as if we were the Kids and they're the teachers. That is why we will be able to know what should be the reactions as teachers and even for the Kids.

The two lecturers have finally done sharing their topics even those some volunteers have been also given the chance to share. Now, after they've their best for us to learned what is needed for us to know and learned. It is now time for the application of what we have learned today in our training and seminar.

We have been divided into four groups and then we need to reenact or do a simulation of the actual VBS Session based on to what we have learned in today's training seminar. But since it is about to lunch break, we need to stop first but we already know our groupmates and started planning to what we needed to do.

In the afternoon, our lecturers have continued the sharing as we have only one lecturer left to share;. the lecturer have shared some important part of the VBS Session which is the Artwork Activities, Dance presentation and everything that helps the kids more active during the VBS.

Finally, the wait is over for our actual application of today's training and seminar. Each group has different scenarios to portray as the given scenes will be in depends on the day given to the group. Each has different lessons and activities and since the Kids are our students which really hard to manage that is why our task today is very difficult.

Each group have chosen Teachers and Assistant Teachers, and even volunteers and the rest are acting the Kids. It is nice that the participants who acts like Kids even do something that usually or may happen during our VBS just like the Kids are playing and fighting and a lot more.

In today's activity we have will teach us in the actual VBS Session, on how to handle if ever this scenarios will happen. Our lecturers will grade us based on our performance and thank God for our group will the 3rd place.

Our training and seminar had finally ended around 4:30 in the afternoon with full of happiness to our faces for a successful VBS training and seminar we have that will helps us in the implementation of this program in our Church.

It was truly an amazing experience we have today that really helps us also in our Ministry most especially in handling the Kids during our Children Ministry every Sunday. This will not eventually happen without the guidance and help of our God, and all this we do for the glory and honor of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!
