My first photography post as I return from a rather long hiatus.

Hello, my friends in the Photography Lovers community, how are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I've been inactive in this community for quite a while due to a few other things, and I've also been busy with photo sessions for some of my clients. It seems that now I can become active again because my previous busy schedule has started to ease up and return to normal.

Before I begin sharing my photography works with you all in this community, I took some time to observe the community, and it appears that some posts have received low engagement, even though, in my opinion, they feature very high-quality photography. I don't know the exact reasons for this, as it's beyond my capacity as a photographer. However, my hope for the future is that the photography works of other community members will receive more appreciation than before.

I think that's enough for my opening words. Now, I'd like to share with you my photography work from one of the portrait sessions I conducted.

I've titled this photography session "La Vie en Rose," which comes from the French language and means "life in pink." "La Vie en Rose" is also a well-known song. The reason I chose this title for this photography is that I feel that the model I photographed desires a life filled with love and affection, even though she may seem a bit fragile. She lives her life wholeheartedly and hopes for a life infused with the color pink, symbolizing love and tenderness.

I always give a theme to each of my photography works, as it allows me to develop creative ideas, from poses to outfits. In this session, I suggested a formal outfit because I wanted to show that a woman can work and, at the same time, yearn for love and affection.

Regarding the technical aspects of the photoshoot, I think everything was set to standard parameters. I used a Fujifilm camera with the classic negative film simulation. For white balance, I set it to 4900 Kelvin with some adjustments to the WB Shift. I'm a fan of Fujifilm cameras because of their film simulations, retro design, and exposure settings that involve dials, which align with my photography style. I'll share more about film simulations sometime in the future.

Without further ado, here are the photos.

The last photo used the slow shutter technique. Lately, I've noticed that this technique has become quite popular among photographers, and, of course, I wanted to try it myself. I think it adds an interesting dimension to certain scenes. I believe that many of you here are already familiar with the slow shutter technique, so there's no need for me to explain it further.

The slow shutter technique is suitable for capturing dramatic and dynamic moments, such as dancing. In this session, I tried it for the first time, and, of course, I combined this technique with the use of flash. However, it can also be done without using a flash, and I will share the results of portrait photos using this technique without a flash in another post.

I think that's enough for my post today because I have several more photography works to share on another occasion. Don't forget to support the photography works of your fellow members here, as it will motivate them to share their work, and, of course, with the help of likes from fellow photographers, they can potentially get assistance for gear upgrades.

Warm regards from me,
Thank you.

Yes, yes, I'm just starting in here and I am enjoying it too. Most of my shot was shared only on social media and I can only do that much as I am not confident with my shot hehe. (≧▽≦)

Hi, thank you. Actually, these are just a few of the many photos from a session. I think these are some of the best I can share. And of course, I'm also afraid of people getting bored from seeing the same face too often. Photography is indeed a lot of fun, and I think you should start it soon.
