There is a need

I do understand that we do not owe anyone kindness, or being compassionate or empathetic but regardless, there is a need to be compassionate, kind, and empathetic to everyone we come across, not just because we owe them but because life is not and has never been the same for everyone.

People are going through a lot of challenges, a lot of storms, a lot of tribulation, hurts, pain, and distress, and most people are on a thin line between letting in the towel and staying aloof.

If your life is not hectic, disoriented, or in shabbles like others it does not mean everyone's life is the same as yours or that everyone's life is perfect like yours. People are fighting their battles every tick of the day, people are suppressing their demons every dawn and dark of the day, so try not to trigger them because your life is different from theirs.

If we cannot afford to be kind and compassionate, we shouldn't then add more pain and sorrow to other people's lives, if we cannot afford to love and support others, let's not be the source of pain and agony in people's life. Unknown to us, everyone is fighting a different kind of battle, so let them fight their battle at their own pace and in peace.

Don't be the reason for another person's unhappiness or sadness even though we all know that we shouldn't let others be the source of our happiness, but don't be the reason someone somewhere throws in the towel, don't be the reason someone gives up on life, don't be the reason someone somewhere considers suicide, don't be the reason another person falls into depression. If you can not be compassionate, sympathetic, kind, don't be a pain, don't bring hurt to their lives, let them be.

To everyone out there who through all odds is putting in everything to give themselves and their families a better tomorrow, may the universe make it easy for you.
