The sculptures were made by Ernst Hegenbarth, and depict a musician playing a zithers, but don't know what the other one is holding.
it looks to me like a representation on a ceramic vase, where a muse (divinity) gives inspiration to Hesiod. An ancient (bordering on mythical) poet. If I find it I will send it to you! Thanks!
