Ya me encuentro ante todos ustedes para mostrarles un nuevo dibujo que será elaborado de una manera no convencional; es decir, que, en realidad se trata de dos dibujos centrados en un mismo tema como son los extraterrestres, pero, vistos con dos técnicas para colorear totalmente diferentes, en donde se han aplicado desde lápices de colores y marcadores; hoja extraídas de block para dibujos hasta cartones de cajas de cereal, instantáneo.

I am already in front of all of you to show you a new drawing that will be elaborated in an unconventional way; that is, that, in reality, it is two drawings focused on the same theme as aliens, but, seen with two totally different coloring techniques, where they have been applied from colored pencils and markers; sheet extracted from block for drawings to cartons of cereal boxes, instant.

Versión 1: lápices de colores y hoja de block/Version 1: Colored pencils and block sheet

Iniciamos con la creación del boceto del rostro del extraterrestre, al trazar una cruz que dividirá en cuatro partes iguales la página, esto se hace con fin del localizar el centro de la misma para poder situar correctamente la imagen. Todo fue llevado a cabo con la ayuda de una regla y un lápiz de grafito 2H.

We start with the creation of the sketch of the alien's face, by tracing a cross that will divide the page into four equal parts, this is done in order to locate the center of it to be able to position the image correctly. Everything was carried out with the help of a ruler and a graphite pencil 2H.

Seguidamente, borramos de manera tenue las líneas ya trazadas para marcar por encima con lápiz de color.

Then, we erase the lines already drawn in a faint way to mark above with colored pencil.

A partir de acá usaremos los lápices de colores, Prismacolor, con diversas escalas del color verde, como son el verde primavera y el verde pasto, y amarillo, para dar más brillo al verde; se aplican varias capaz, una encima de la otra para lograr el efecto deseado. En cuando a los ojos, se usó marcador de tinta negra; y los brillos, son espacios en blanco.

From here we will use the colored pencils, Prismacolor, with different scales of the green color, such as spring green and grass green, and yellow, to give more brightness to the green; several capable are applied, one on top of the other to achieve the desired effect. As for the eyes, black ink marker was used; and the glitters, are blanks.

Versión 2: marcadores y cartón de caja de cereal/Version 2: markers and cereal box cardboard

Tal como se hizo en la primera versión, se procederá de la misma forma para generar el boceto, con una regla y un lápiz de grafito 2H.

As was done in the first version, we will proceed in the same way to generate the sketch, with a ruler and a 2H graphite pencil.

Luego, pasamos a marcar todas las líneas con un marcador de punta fina. Y borramos todo el grafito con un borrar.

Then, we move on to mark all the lines with a fine point marker. And we erase all the graphite with an eraser.

Marcamos todas las áreas que lleven sombra y ciertas partes del cuello, ya que esto le dará un aspecto de cómics. Ya en los ojos, se usó marcador de tinta negra, y bolígrafo de tinta blanca para efectos de brillo.

We mark all the areas that have shade and certain parts of the neck, as this will give it a comic book look. Already on the eyes, black ink marker was used, and white ink pen for gloss effects.

Pasamos a aplicar un tono verde oscuro para dar volumen, y un tono verde claro que indica la proyección de luz sobre la misma figura.

We pass on to apply a dark green tone to give volume, and a light green tone that indicates the projection of light on the same figure.

Culminamos un tono más intenso de verde. Y para el fondo, un color azul Prusia.

We culminate a more intense shade of green. And for the background, a Prussian blue color.

Haciendo una comparativa entre uno y otro dibujo, siento que le versión número uno es más agradable a la vista, ya que se ve de manera más clara a diferencia del segundo. Pienso que el fondo aplicado en la segunda versión acentúa saturación. Pero, aún así, ¿que piensan ustedes? ¿Cual es su favorito, versión uno o versión 2? Los leo en la caja de comentarios.

Making a comparison between one and another drawing, I feel that the number one version is more pleasing to the eye, since it looks more clearly unlike the second one.
