¡Hola amantes de los animales! Hoy vengo a presentarles el otro lado de mi familia, conformado por mis aves de corral y mi tortuga terrestre o morrocoy.
The poultry came to our home at the beginning of the year, bringing us happiness and pride, from them we get food such as eggs and fertilizer material, which helps us to have a healthy and prosperous garden.
In our home we have about 5 hens and a rooster, inside cages made by my father and me, inside which we provide water and food at 3 times of the day. The feed varies according to the needs of the household but consists of cereals such as corn, space feed for poultry growth or ponarina and leftover precooked flour or wheat.

Las aves de corral llegaron a nuestro hogar a principios de año, trayéndonos felicidad y orgullo, de ellos obtenemos alimentos como huevos y material fertilizante, que nos ayuda a tener un huerto sano y próspero.
En nuestro hogar tenemos alrededor de 5 gallinas y un gallo, dentro de jaulas fabricadas por mi padre y yo, dentro de las cuales proporcionamos agua y alimentos en 3 horarios del día. El alimento varía de acuerdo a las necesidades del hogar pero consta de cereales como maíz, alimento espacial para crecimiento de aves de corral o ponarina y restos de harina precocida o trigo.
They are somewhat territorial animals, sometimes the rooster tends to be somewhat jealous and protective of his hens, but otherwise they tend to be fearful of loud noises or the presence of animals such as dogs or cats that invade the garden from neighboring homes.

Son animales algo territoriales, en ocasiones, el gallo suele ser algo celoso y protector con sus gallinas, pero de resto suelen ser temerosos a ruidos fuertes o presencia de animales como perros o gatos que invaden el jardín desde hogares vecinos.
As for their eggs, we obtain an average of 4 to 5 eggs per day, which are used for our consumption and their shells are not discarded, but are part of a special fertilizer along with wood ashes, coffee grounds and chicken droppings, which allows us a wide variety of vegetation among which are lechoza or papaya plants, banana, pumpkin, sweet potato, sugar cane and corn. This assures us a healthy garden that covers some of the needs within the home.

En cuanto a sus huevos, obtenemos en un promedio de 4 a 5 por día, que sirven de consumo para nosotros y su cascara no es desechada, sino que forma parte de un abono especial junto con cenizas de leña, restos de café y excremento de gallina, lo que nos permite una amplia variedad de vegetación entre la que están plantas de lechoza o papaya, plátano, auyama o calabaza, batata o patata dulce, caña de azúcar y maíz. Lo que nos asegura un huerto saludable que cubre algunas necesidades dentro del hogar.

Son animales increíblemente nobles que trasmiten esa energía de productividad y crecimiento, en algunas cultura se tienen como símbolo de fertilidad, y personalmente, es inexplicable lo que significa amanecer con el canto del gallo; es como sentir ese calor de hogar propio de mi tierra.
La cría de animales de corral debe ser cuidadosa en ambientes secos y techados para protegerlos de lluvia torrenciales.
En el caso del suelo, puede disminuir la humedad y los posibles malos olores el uso de aserrín y conchas de arroz que se esparcen cada cierto tiempo, de acuerdo a sus necesidades.
On the other hand, we have our morrocoy, an animal that has approximately 10 years with us and is in a small space, being fed with lettuce leaves, cabbage, fruits and vegetables; it is a quite simple animal whose space must be cleaned frequently.

Por otro lado, tenemos a nuestro morrocoy, un animal que tiene aproximadamente 10 años con nosotros y se encuentra en un pequeño espacio, siendo alimentado con hojas de lechuga, repollo, frutas y vegetales; es un animal bastante sencillo cuyo espacio se debe limpiar con frecuencia.
We also have animals that visit us and even though they do not live with us every day, they represent an important part of our home.
At this point I want to emphasize animal abuse, it is inevitable that sometimes animals such as cats enter our home in search of food; and it is important to give them affection and shelter if it is within our possibilities. Además tenemos animales que nos visitan y a pesar de no hacer vida con nosotros todos los días representan una parte importante de nuestro hogar.
En este punto quiero hacer hincapié en cuanto al maltrato animal, es inevitable que en ocasiones entren a nuestro hogar animales como gatos en busca de alimento; y es de importancia brindarle cariño y cobijo si está dentro de nuestras posibilidades. No les tiremos agua encima, ni los asustemos y tampoco le arrojemos objetos; son animales que merecen nuestro respeto.
Pets are wonderful beings that have changed my life, having positive effects on my environment.
Experts affirm that raising animals in a correct way, produces a reduction of stress, increases productivity and self-esteem.
In the case of our family, it completely removed the feeling of loneliness and brought us a lot of positive energy. For this reason, we are planning a possible expansion and conditioning of the space for our animals.

Los animales domésticos son seres maravillosos que han cambiado mi vida, teniendo efectos positivos en mi entorno.
Expertos afirman que la crianza de animales de manera correcta, produce una reducción del estrés, aumenta la productividad y el autoestima.
En el caso de nuestra familia, alejó por completo el sentimiento de soledad y nos trajo una gran cantidad de energía positiva. Por ello, tenemos planeada una posible ampliación y acondicionamiento del espacio de nuestros animales.

Muchas gracias las gallinas son uno de los animales mas nobles y abundantes del mundo, yo las amo son tan versátiles hasta una alarma pueden ser jajaja... Las mías avisan ante cualquier presencia extraña.

Las gallinas son muy inteligentes y cariñosas. Mira yo he tenido gallinas amigas mias, y hablamos y todo, aunque te parezca una locura, ellas entienden!.
Por ejemplo les he contado sobre problemas con los vecinos y la gallinita se me ha acurrucado en el pecho, como consolándome, es muy impresionante y genial.
Yo a las gallinas las amo. =D
Si y excelentes madres lástima que la época de mis pollitos pasó pero es lindo verlas en esa faceta.
Los animales tienen un sexto sentido para la tristeza, es algo natural en casi todos.
Te diré que son fabulosas, son como perros con alas, y hacen soniditos especiales para reconfortarte, y también cuando andas bravas, es muy genial!.
