Macro Photography-139- Euphorbia milii
This image shows the center of an Euphorbia milii flower. I was able to capture how some ants got trapped by the sweet nectar produced by the flowers.
Perhaps the scent of the flower or the nectar causes these little ants to succumb to this delicious sugary nectar, and then it is too late for them to escape.
The ants got trapped in the sweet liquid produced here. Perhaps it is a trap set by the plant itself to feed on the decomposition of these ants, or, on the contrary, it is a way of getting rid of them, for the same reason that ants fill them with pests at the slightest carelessness.
In the end, I just wanted to take an enlarged photo of the center of a flower, called the Crown of Christ. The ants were a chance discovery.
I like the tones of the Euphorbia and the diverse colors that emanate from its depths, hidden from the common eye. They can only be distinguished by taking a close-up photo.
