Hello friends of Hive! Today I come to tell you about my new adventure to the "Tequendama" pool.

It started at 7:30am at our most frequent meeting point, the Virgen del Valle church in the city of Cumaná, at that time we left via the cariaco dock, Rivero Municipality in the State of Sucre, where this beautiful pool is located.

We arrived at 9:30 approximately and at that moment we began our walk through the mountain to reach our destination, we walked for about an hour, we crossed some river passes but really the journey was very quiet and smooth.

When we arrived to our destination we were perplexed by the great beauty and tranquility that mother nature gives us, we could appreciate the turquoise blue color and a stone slab that formed a waterfall from which we jumped many times hahaha, and we also used it to climb and meet a second pool called "La lisa" as beautiful as the pool "Tequendama", we could be calm and enjoy nature.

Then we went down to the third pool called "El Padre" where we stayed longer and had some delicious hamburgers for lunch along with a panela juice with lemon.

After about two hours in this last pool we began to take the road to the house where we changed our wet clothes for a dry one, enjoyed some delicious cacharepas (arepa-shaped plate filled with cheese) and some tasty coquitos (traditional sweet made of coconut and sugar) to return to the initial meeting point, our beloved church Virgen del Valle.

On the way the guides Jesus host of "Mochima Extrema" and Crusenia represents "CYC tours" surprised us with raffles where I won a thermos, guessing the name of an insect that we found on the way, a curious thousand feet.

It was an experience that I would really repeat, I recommend that if you have the opportunity, go and meet these beautiful pools in our beloved Cariaco Pier!
