Greetings @fotostef, I love these smartphone photos too. It's completely different from when you're well equipped, the emotions are different, but what's most striking is that we feel much more like we're at your side on your walks when you're using a smartphone than when you're using a camera.

It's as if using a smartphone is closer to what a human being is capable of seeing? Or maybe we're all much more used to taking/viewing photos via a smartphone and so we're more into an "art" form - dare I say it - that we're familiar with.

I don't know. By the way, I say "we", but that's a purely personal comment.

I just thought it was interesting to see the significant difference between the two.

You are right, smartphone photography does have a feeling of immediacy, as in closer to reality. I am not sure though that it is more than an impression, a common belief partly false. But it doesn't really matter. It is easy, it is fun and it works :)
