Hello, how are you? In this adventure blog I will show you the spectacular river located in San Juan, Sucre State, Cumana. The road to the “Tubos” is very long. The air had a fresh scent, mixed with the smell of the humid earth due to the weather.

Well, before arriving we had been waiting for my uncle for a while because the tires of his truck had gone flat. We waited for about 5 hours until he finally arrived. We got in and started our trip.

Halfway we realized that other relatives who were also supposed to follow us were not following us, so we had to find a way to communicate with them because there is no signal in San Juan. When we contacted them, a cousin and her partner had an accident and so they were in the hospital and my uncle Manuel's car (i.e. his dad) got stuck and as soon as they could fix it they went to the hospital. Anyway, since we were already in the place we went to the Tubos and then we would go to see how they were doing (in the end, they were both with scratches and whoever ran over them took care of the expenses).

We decided to continue our way on the road, which was a long way. The water was very cold and some of the rocks were slippery which gave us more than one scare. At one point, we all ended up laughing as we tried to keep our balance to be able to climb up to the part where we had the truck and our things.

The water was clear with a greenish hue of which you could see the fish swimming calmly. On the shores, there were many pebbles of different sizes and colors. A cousin was collecting pebbles with smooth textures. The weather was between sunny and cloudy, it even rained a lot and we were still swimming peacefully.

I highly recommend going in low season and weekdays because there are almost no people and as it is a busy place there are many people. In addition to that you should dress in a cool way, with flip flops, shorts, obviously your bathing suit, plenty of sunscreen. And don't forget to wear non-slip shoes. And well, the best time I recommend to enjoy the tranquility in addition to the days is early in the morning, before many people arrive.

This trip was really fun and entertaining, I wish you can also enjoy this place as I did with my family despite all the obstacles we had. If you ever need a break, I encourage you to find a place like this and lose yourself for a few hours in its tranquility.

Hola, que tal, ¿cómo están? En este blog aventura les mostraré el espectacular río que se encuentra ubicado en San Juan, Estado Sucre, Cumaná. El camino hacia los “Tubos” es muy largo. El aire tenía un aroma fresco, mezclado con el olor de la tierra húmeda debido al clima que había.

Bueno, antes de llegar estuvimos esperando a mi tío desde hace rato porque se le habían desinflado las llantas de la camioneta. Como 5 horas esperando, hasta que por fin llego. Nos subimos y comenzamos a emprender el viaje.

A mitad de camino nos dimos cuenta que otros familiares que también tenían que seguirnos no nos estaban siguiendo entonces tuvimos que buscar cómo comunicarnos porque en San Juan no hay señal. Al contactarlos, una prima junto a su pareja tuvo un accidente y por lo cual estaban en el hospital y el carro de mi tío Manuel (es decir, su papá) se tranco y apenas pudieron arreglarlo se dirigieron al Hospital. Total, que como ya estábamos en el lugar nos fuimos a los Tubos y ya luego nos iríamos a ver como estaban. (Al final, se encontraban los dos con raspones y quien los atropelló se hizo cargo de los gastos).

Decidimos seguir nuestro camino en carretera lo cual si fue largo el camino. Entonces apenas llegamos junto a mis primas me quite la ropa y me bañe, el agua estaba muy helada y algunas de las rocas eran resbaladizas las cuales nos dieron más de un susto. En un momento, todos terminamos riendo mientras intentábamos mantener el equilibrio para poder escalar hacia la parte en donde teníamos la camioneta y nuestras cosas.

El agua era clara con un tono verdoso de los cuales sí que podías ver los peces nadando tranquilamente. En las orillas, había muchas piedras de distintos tamaños y colores. Una prima estaba coleccionando piedritas con texturas lisas. El clima estaba ente soleado y nublado, que hasta llovió mucho e igual nos seguimos bañando tranquilamente.

Recomiendo mucho ir en temporada baja y días de semana debido a que casi no hay gente y como es un lugar transitado se encuentran muchas personas. Además de que deben de vestir de una manera fresca, con chanclas, shorts, obviamente tu traje de baño, bastante protector solar. Además de no olvidar llevar zapatos antideslizantes. Y bueno, la mejor hora que recomiendo para disfrutar de la tranquilidad además de los días es temprano en la mañana, antes de que llegue mucha gente.

Este viaje fue realmente divertido y entretenido, deseo que también puedas disfrutar de este lugar como yo lo hice con mi familia a pesar de todos los obstáculos que tuvimos. Si alguna vez necesitas un respiro, te animo a buscar un lugar como este y perderte por unas horas en su tranquilidad.
