Sweet Memories of Sunshine, my Dog!!

Hello Hive! I hope you are all having a good day! Hmmm... I hope some people here love dogs! I know not everyone does, but I certainly do.

So, I am looking back at these photos, which are a sweet memory of 'my' dog, Sunshine, a mix between a terrier and a corgi! See how lovely she is? She was the nicest and kindest dog I have ever had! ('My' dog means it is the dog of my employers who kept it here in Hong Kong from August 2021 until March 2022, hehe.)

She is also a very intelligent dog: I taught her to shake hands and to wait with eating until I told her to eat, even if her feeding dish was already full. And she loved so much to be treated by me!

You know, I had a scary experience with a dog when I was a child: I was bitten, and it left me with a bit of trauma. But here in Hong Kong, the dogs are so friendly. Maybe they are better bred and they even seem to like me! Whenever I am out walking and a dog sees me, they often stop and want to play. Since moving here, I have started to befriend them, and then I had Sunshine. This experience showed me I was wrong—not all dogs are bad.

I have come to understand that my childhood incident probably happened because I ran away quickly, and the dog might have just been frightened and reacted by biting me. But that doesn't mean all dogs are the same. They are like human beings. Some aren't aware of how they come across to others, while many are good and very perceptive.
