Hello everyone. I'm back for the second week of this nostalgically wonderful rebirth of one of my favorite contests, The Alphabet Hunt, this time hosted by @banglahive. THE LETTER B

BUTTERFLY

This photo was taken at the Butterfly Garden/Museum of the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden located in Manila, Philippines which I visited in March of this year. The frame, a wall-mounted glass display case, is part of the preserved butterfly wing mosaic of the Museum. It contains a decorative clay pot suspended by jute ropes with dozens of different butterfly specimens pouring out. It is a handcrafted artwork using naturally shed or preserved butterfly wings.

BRIDE

They say the time a woman is prettiest is on her wedding day. I can believe that because I have never seen my daughter as lovely as ever as on the day she became a bride.

BUTTONS

These are just some of my wife's collection of buttons. She gets these from clothes she buys from thrift shops and second hand stores. She replaces the fancy buttons with ordinary ones and saves them for future use.

BAMBOO

I had this bamboo divider made more than 15 years ago and is still as sturdy and aesthetically functional as ever. It has been moved several times around the house and its current location is now behind two lounging chairs where guests can sit and talk and have a few drinks.

BEACH

This is actually a privately owned beach line property but the owner allows anyone and everyone to use it. This is where my grandson and I go to swim, if the tide is high as in the photo or hunt for shells when it is low tide.

BALLOONS

This was the yuletide decoration of one of the supermarkets here in our city. It's important to create the spirit of the season so shoppers won't feel too bad about spending too much 😁

I would like to end this by adding a bonus B photo. I really wanted to show a Bee in my words but couldn't get a photo of a live one. So my wife lent me her trinket dispenser which, as you may have guessed it, is in the shape of a Bee.

Oh and it's on a Bamboo tray too.
