Hello everyone. I follow @melinda010100 and learned through her post about the relaunching of a very successful and beloved contest in Hive years ago hosted by @barbara-orenya: The Alphabet Hunt. As I understood from the said post that this contest is being started again, this time by @banglahive. This got me all excited because in the previous Alphabet Hunt I was late in joining and entered around midway through the contest. This time I would like to complete it from A all the way to Z. So for those who follow me I invite you to look into this Contest and see if this can get you excited enough to join. The link to the contest post is here. Do read up and join. THE LETTER A:

ASTRONAUT

No, I didn't go all the way to Cape Canaveral to get a picture of an astronaut. My grandson has one right in the bedroom. It's actually a phone charger, would you believe?

ARMOR

My daughter used to work in Koblenz, Germany. During her stint there she visited so many places and one of these is the Burg Eltz or the Eltz Castle. The Burg Eltz is a 12th century medieval castle located in the hills above the Moselle River in Koblenz and Trier. And inside the castle, as if standing guard, is this knight in full armor gear.

ACE

Who wouldn't want to have one of these while playing cards? How about all 4 of them? Unbeatable except by a straight flush. But I'll take my chances.

AMARYLLIS

In the Victorian language of flowers, amaryllis means "love, beauty, and determination", and can also represent hope and achievement. Wikipedia

My wife, years ago, bought three of these plants not knowing what color the flowers would be or whether they would actually flower. After planting them we waited and waited and then waited some more. Finally, one of the plants bloomed! And boy, was it worth the wait.

AQUARIUM

Earlier this year I had the occasion to visit the Ocean Park in Manila, Philippines with my grandson. I was just as excited as he was because it was the first time for both of us. We saw this aquarium on the way inside with some really big fish or so I thought. There were a lot more inside far bigger. I can't wait for the letter F to show them to you.

AUTOMOBILES

This was taken on our way to the airport to take a flight back to Davao City. There were a lot of vehicles and traffic was almost at a standstill. Good thing we left for the airport early and need not have to worry about missing the flight.
