Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest 284 - Forward Integration AndThe Missing Link

I was walking towards one of the malls here in our place yesterday. It was a sunny afternoon and I just came from the bank from across the street when I encountered three food riders as we call them here. These riders are motorcycle drivers who deliver food to people who order from different stores such as McDonalds, KFC, Jollibee and whatever establishment that offer to go food. Though recently, I found out these people also deliver letters, documents and parcels as well. Talk about forward integration.

As these riders walked past me I doubled back after a few seconds when I suddenly realized that they were passing a couple of mobile concrete steel fences used mainly for pedestrian control which were casting some cool shadows on the pavement.

I was immediately in Shadow hunting mode, pouncing on my prey like a lion does his. Stop, look and capture. My trophy for this hunt!

It was only when I was making this post that I realized there was something off with one of the steel fences. Do you see it? The missing link? Here's a closer view and also my entry for this week
