Oh, yess! your Skipper is an beautifull dog, and for you an challenge, 😉 My little Mylaatje is still going, not so strong anymore, but for her age she is doing just fine, yess she will always be my little myla, although she's living for many years with you still 😊 And yess, dogs are living beings, so they have needs and an character of their own. But that's what makes them so beautifull. Take for example my Gentle, she is such an little package with a great character, when she wants to cuddle she comes to you, when she doesn't want it, you can be who ever you are, but she's not willing to take the cuddle on your time, but on her time, 😰 and my deseaced Micky was a little cuddler, with everyone, even a thief would get a cuddle of him. And i love it!! The little characters of their own. It's a challenge, but a loving challenge.
Skipper is a beautiful cutie, the only times where he provides real challenges is like 2 times a day when we're taking the long walks. But he is who he is, and I've accepted that, treat him with patience and love and gradually we both learn how to handle all the challenging obstacles on our way. It takes time, but we'll get there.
Myla is the sweetest soul I've ever known. She is a wonderful lady and for a lady of her age she is doing great. Still very lively and in her head she can do just about everything. Reality is different, but in her head she is still as strong as when she was 3 years.
And Lana, she's getting old too ... but also very lively, not to say "hyper". She's a great dog too and I love all 3 dogs equally.
Gentle is a special dog, she always was and always will be. And Micky, he was an awesome sweety. Friendly towards anyone and very sensitive. They all have characters of their own, thank God they have that.
