When we create content or want to share what we’re doing on social media, there inevitably comes a time to take photos of ourselves. A level that sometimes feels hard to unlock… and for me, it’s been quite a challenge. I must confess.

I’m not sure if it’s because of my generation, my personality, or even my profession, but I tend to do things more privately. However, since joining Hive, I’ve learned to be more communicative and to show myself a little more. Of course, with its ups and downs: moments full of activity and others marked by long silences (whole rests one after another—yes, a music joke, haha).

Recently, I had the opportunity to give a remote conference for my country, and I wanted to share it in my stories and on social media. So, I dedicated myself to taking selfies… lots of selfies. All just to choose the best photo.

I realized that, beyond the image itself, this process is an exercise in taking risks and practicing self-acceptance. Even though I’ve taken steps forward, it’s still a work in progress.

In these highs and lows, sounds and silences—which others might see as inconsistency—I choose to see them as the rhythm of my steps toward reconstruction and self-awareness. So… I’ll keep taking some photos, even if they’re not perfect.
