City Murals

These murals are all on the wall of the general cemetery of La Ceiba, Honduras. What you see is tha East side and there are probably 25 different murals on this side, the North side, which is longer has more than this, the West has about the same number. The South side has nothing as there are houses surrounding that area. So I think we have over 100 murals around the cemetery, some of them, obviously are actually publicity but most of them depict life in the city starting from when it was founded some 150 years ago, through the banana epoch to modern times. It is quite interesting and I even had the opportunity to see the guys who painted them, just two guys painted most of them and the final ones were painted by just one artist.
