Visiting the nursery garden of my city 🌱🌵🌴🌳🌲🌿

Greetings hivers! There is a place where every plant lover enjoys visiting, a nursery garden. Nursery gardens are spaces where we can find plants of all kinds for our house, apartment, orchard or garden, at the same time they offer materials related to gardening such as soil, fertilizer, pots of all kinds, tools, seeds, etc., apart from advice on how to care for each plant.

Saludos hivers! Existe un lugar donde todo amante de las plantas disfruta visitar, un vivero. Los viveros son espacios donde podemos encontrar plantas de todo tipo para nuestro casa, apartamento, huerto o jardín, a la vez ofrecen materiales relacionados a la jardinería como tierra, abono, macetas de todo tipo, herramientas, semillas, etc, aparte de la asesoría sobre como cuidar cada planta.

Last Saturday I went with my sister to one of the two nursery gardens that are in the city. One is to the east of the city and the other to the west, we went to the second one that is leaving the city, it's relatively close to our house, about twenty minutes walking, and it's a very pleasant walk up there.

El sábado pasado fui con mi hermana a uno de los dos viveros que están en la ciudad. Uno está al este de la ciudad y el otro al oeste, nosotras fuimos al segundo que está saliendo de la ciudad, queda relativamente cerca de donde nuestra casa, unos veinte minutos caminando y es un paseo muy agradable hasta allá.

We left early in the morning, the day was cool and there was not much sun, ideal weather for walking. We arrived, we entered and this is what we found, come with me on this green walk through the nursery garden.

Salimos temprano en la mañana, el día estaba fresco y no había mucho sol, clima ideal para caminar. Llegamos, entramos y esto fue lo que encontramos, acompáñenme a este verde paseo por el vivero.

Have you ever thought about how a coconut tree is planted? 🌴 Well, it's as simple as this, they take a green coconut and put it in the ground leaving the top exposed, voila! This left me really surprised 👍 / ¿Alguna vez se habían puesto a pensar cómo se siembra un cocotero? 🌴 Pues es tan sencillo como esto, agarran un coco verde y lo meten en la tierra dejando la parte superior expuesta, listo! Esto me dejó realmente sorprendida 👍

In this nursery garden we can find ornamental plants for gardens and interiors, medicinal plants, flowers, fruit trees, succulents, vegetables speciments for the garden, the house or the apartment. We also find high-maintenance plants such as those that don't require so much care, in short, there are plants for all tastes hehehe.

En este vivero podemos encontrar plantas ornamentales de jardín e interiores, medicinales, de flores, frutales, hortalizas, suculentas, ejemplares para el huerto, la casa o el apartamento. También conseguimos plantas de alto mantenimiento como las que no requieren tantos cuidados, en pocas palabras, las hay para todos los gustos jejeje.

This nursery garden is huge and has many corridors through which we can comfortably observe the plants. It would be a good idea for the plants to have signs with their names so wey can identify them and not have to ask those who work there all the time hahaha.

Este vivero es enorme y tiene muchos pasillos a través de los cuales uno puede ir observando las plantas cómodamente, sería una buena idea que las plantas tuviesen carteles con el nombre de cada una para así poder identificarlas y no tener que estarle preguntando a cada rato a los que trabajan allí jajaja.

While we were looking at the plants a Paraulata lamp eyes (Turdus nudigenis) approached, in its beak it had a huge worm 🐛 / Mientras mirábamos las plantas se acercó una paraulata ojos de candil (Turdus nudigenis), tenía un enorme gusano en su pico 🐛

Crassula ovata, as known as Shrek's ear. They look like plants from planet Mars hehehe 👽 / Crassula ovata, también conocida como Oreja de Shrek. Parecen plantas traídas de Marte jejeje 👽

In the nursery garden we can find a variety of pots in materials such as clay, plastic and metal baskets, they come in different shapes and sizes from very small for cactus and succulents to very large for trees and shrubs.

En el vivero podemos encontrar variedad de macetas en materiales como barro, plástico y cestas metálicas, las hay en diferentes formas y tamaños desde muy pequeñas como para cactus y suculentas hasta muy grandes como para árboles y arbustos.

Of all the plants we asked about, they only had chamomile, at least that's what a guy who works there told us, my sister bought it, I didn't really remember what its leaves look like but when we got home my mom told us that it wasn't chamomile 😕🤦🏻‍♀️ hahaha, but hey, it doesn't matter, we're trying to identify it, its leaves smell like anise.

De todas las plantas por las cuales preguntamos solo tenían manzanilla, al menos eso fue lo que nos dijo un chico que trabaja allí, mi hermana la compró, yo no me acordaba muy bien de cómo son sus hojas pero cuando llegamos a la casa mi mamá nos dijo que eso no era manzanilla 😕🤦🏻‍♀️ jajaja, pero bueno, no importa, estamos tratando de identificarla, sus hojas huelen como el anís.
