Rostros y expresiones de niños captadas con mi cámara en una popular fiesta folclórica / Faces and expressions of children captured with my camera at a popular folk festival

Fotografiar a las personas es algo muy interesante, no tanto como la naturaleza, pero también tiene su atractivo jajaja. El año pasado asistí a una popular fiesta folclórica que se realiza en mi ciudad todos los años cada 2 de noviembre aquí el post, en esa publicación me enfoqué en hablar de la historia de esa tradición y de su baile, sin embargo, me quedaron muchas fotos interesantes sin publicar.

Photographing people is something very interesting, not as much as nature, but it has its appeal, too hahaha. Last year I went to a popular folk festival that takes place in my city every year on November 2 here the post, in that post I focused on talking about the history of that tradition and of its dance.

Ese día pude captar a niños y niñas posando con la vestimenta tradicional de la Llora, espectadores distraídos y concentrados en el baile y muchas otras postales que llamaron mi atención mientras realizaba este reportaje fotográfico para Hive (no, no soy periodista ni reportera gráfica jajaja pero ese día quise experimentar lo que se siente ser uno). Como son muchas fotos, decidí dividirlas en dos partes. Aprovechando que hoy es 12 de Febrero y en mi ciudad celebramos el Día de la Juventud en honor a los jóvenes que murieron en la Batalla de La Victoria de 1814, una de las batallas que ayudó a consolidar la independencia de Venezuela de los españoles, se me ocurrió compartir con ustedes algunas hermosas, tiernas y divertidas imágenes que pude captar de los niños y jóvenes el día de La Llora. Bueno, sin más palabras, dejemos que las imágenes hablen por sí solas.

That day I was able to capture boys and girls posing in the traditional clothing of La Llora, distracted spectators concentrating on the dance, and many other postcards that caught my attention while I was doing this photo report for Hive (no, I'm not a journalist or photojournalist hahaha but that day I wanted to experience what it feels like to be one). As there are many photos, I decided to divide them into two parts. Taking advantage of the fact that today is February 12 and in my city we celebrate Youth Day in honor of the young people who died in the Battle of La Victoria in 1814, one of the battles that helped consolidate the independence of Venezuela from the Spanish, it occurred to me to share with you some beautiful, tender and fun images that I was able to capture of children and young people on the day of La Llora. Well, too much talking, let the pictures speak for themselves.

Aunque ese día había mucha gente en la plaza me divertí mucho mezclándome entre los niños, los bailarines, la orquesta, el coro, los organizadores, los músicos y los espectadores para poder captar con mi cámara la variedad de momentos, rostros y expresiones que surgieron en esta popular fiesta folclórica. Gracias por su tiempo.

Although there were many people in the square that day, I had a lot of fun mixing with the children, the dancers, the orchestra, the choir, the organizers, the musicians and the spectators to be able to capture with my camera the variety of moments, faces and expressions that arose in this popular folk festival.
