Algunos insectos en blanco y negro / Some insects in black and white

Saludos hivers. En el microcosmos de los insectos hay muchas cosas interesantes para ver y apreciar, ellos están en todas partes así que hay grandes probabilidades de encontrarse con uno, y personalmente, puedo considerarme muy afortunada porque siempre aparece uno en mi camino y poco a poco me han ido fascinando con su pequeña pero increíble anatomía. Los insectos están entre mis temas favoritos cuando hablamos de hacer fotos así que hoy quise procesar algunas de ellas en blanco y negro, ojalá les gusten.

Hello hivers. In the insect microcosm, there are many interesting things to see and appreciate. They are everywhere, so there's a good chance you'll encounter one. Personally, I consider myself very lucky because one always appears on my path, and little by little, they've fascinated me with their small but incredible anatomy. Insects are among my favorite subjects when it comes to taking photos, so today I wanted to process some of them in black and white. I hope you like them.

Aunque hay muchas especies de insectos que emiten sonidos, también hay muchos que son silenciosos e imperceptibles, esa característica les otorga la cualidad de estar como en el anonimato y me parece que eso va muy bien con la fotografía en blanco y negro.

Although there are many species of insects that emit sounds, there are also many that are silent and imperceptible. This characteristic gives them the quality of being anonymous, and I think that goes very well with black and white photography.

Hay mucha gente que siente cierto miedo o fobia hacia los insectos y por lo general prefieren mantenerse alejados de ellos pensando en que se les pueden montar encima o cosas así, sin embargo, la mayoría de los insectos no tienen ningún interés en nosotros, a excepción de algunos como los mosquitos por ejemplo que nos aman jejeje, pero los encuentros con el resto de ellos son simplemente fortuitos o provocados por algo en particular como atracción hacia flores que tengamos en nuestras casas, basura o comida expuesta, etc.

There are many people who feel a certain fear or phobia towards insects and generally prefer to stay away from them thinking that they can jump on them or things like that, however, most insects have no interest in us, except for some like mosquitoes for example, that really love us hehehe, but the encounters with the rest of them are simply fortuitous or caused by something in particular such as attraction towards flowers that we have in our houses, garbage or exposed food, etc.

Como les conté al principio, tengo un imán para atraer insectos jajaja, se me aparecen por todos lados y por supuesto, aprovecho todos esos encuentros para hacer fotos, y también para aprender de cada especie que se cruza en mi camino. En esta publicación se me ocurrió usar el formato monocromático para resaltar algunas figuras y texturas de ellos.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I have a magnet for attracting insects, haha. They appear everywhere, and of course, I take advantage of these encounters to take photos and learn about each species I encounter. In this post, I decided to use a monochrome format to highlight some of their shapes and textures.

En esta muestra los protagonistas fueron tres saltamontes, cuatro mariposas, tres polillas, una abeja y un chinche, la temporada de lluvia ya llegó así que mis encuentros con los insectos apenas comienzan y espero poder reunir más fotos para una segunda parte 😉. The stars of this exhibition were three grasshoppers, four butterflies, three moths, a bee, and a bug. The rainy season has arrived, so my insect encounters are just beginning, and I hope to gather more photos for a second part 😉. Thanks a lot for your time. Infinite health and happiness to all 🌞🍀.
