A hexagon in the center of the city

Weeks ago I walked through the historic center of my city, Maracay. I went out with my wife @carmary and we visited some buildings or emblematic places of my city, such as Plaza Bolivar, some shopping malls like Parque Aragua, Hyper Jumbo or this building designed with many hexagons that today I share with you in photos.
In 1976 this building was built to serve as the headquarters of an organization dedicated to the industrial and business development of the central region and the country in general. The name of the organization was Corpoindustria and in fact this building was known for many years as the headquarters of Corpoindustria. Since the year 2000 it became part of the real estate of the government of the state of Aragua and today it functions as the headquarters of the administrative offices of the regional government.
As we can see it is impregnated with hexagons, from its facade to the floor that surrounds it (in the fourth photo we detail many hexagonal figures). We also appreciate in the sixth photo that they built a simple but pleasant square dedicated to the popular Venezuelan singer-songwriter Alí Primera. A statue surrounded by flowers and in the background the Venezuelan flag painted on horizontal grids (seventh and eighth photos).
I hope you enjoyed this structure, well known to us as aragueños. Thank you @liketu for graciously hosting my content on the #hive blockchain.
