Symbol of Love in the Kyiv Metro ❤️ / Символ Любові в Київському метро (EN-UA)

Hello, friends! Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
Today, I unexpectedly discovered something that I had not consciously noticed before. I mean the symbols of Love on the mosaic strips with smalt, which are 'embroidered' on the white ceiling of the central hall of the Golden Gate Metro station.

Сьогодні, у День Св. Валентина, на станції метро "Золоті Ворота" я несподівано відкрила для себе те, чого раніше усвідомлено не помічала. Символ Любові на мозаїчних смугах зі смальти, якими "розшита" біла стеля центральної зали станції.

These decorative strips with the symbol of Love form a kind of arches in the interior of the central hall, and each mosaic composition on them is unique. I passed under them, and I was filled with an incredible feeling of joy at this unexpected discovery.

Ці, наче вишиті каменем, декоративні смуги утворюють в інтер'єрі центральної зали своєрідні арки, і кожна мозаїчна композиція на них унікальна. Я проходила під ними, затамувавши подих, і мене переповнювало неймовірне відчуття радості від цього несподіваного відкриття.

Today, on Valentine's Day, the Golden Gate Metro station seemed to open its heart to me. It's so touching! I love this metro station very much! Because it is the most beautiful of all the Kyiv Metro stations.

Станція, на якій я ледь не щодня бувала останні 5 років і користуюся нею дотепер, наче освідчилася мені в коханні, відкрила свої серця. Це так зворушливо! Бо я теж її дуже люблю, для мене вона найгарніша з усіх станцій Київського метрополітену.

I've been meaning to write a post about this Kyiv Metro station for a long time. But put it off for later. So, maybe this lyrical sketch today will be a prelude to writing a more extensive and layered text. Time will show.
The main thing is that our hearts should always be open to others, full of Love, Kindness and Light.

Я довгий час збиралася написати про неї допис на Hive, але все відкладала на потім. Тож, можливо, ця сьогоднішня лірична замальовка стане прелюдією для написання більш розгорнутого й багатошарового тексту. Час покаже. Головне, аби наші серця завжди були відкриті для інших, сповнені Любові, Добра та Світла.

Interesting Fact. At the Golden Gate Metro station, in the center of the mosaic frieze in the intermediate lobby (between the escalators), there is a mosaic inscription "Glory to Ukraine!". It is not known who made it. But such a display of love for the Native Land in 1989 was a brave act. Because then you could go to prison for that and get the Soviet Union label "Enemy of the people."

P.S. До речі, ви знали, що в самому центрі на мозаїчному фризі у проміжному вестибюлі (між ескалаторами) на Золотих Воротах є мозаїчний напис "Слава Україні!"? Невідомо, хто саме його виклав зі смальти. Але такий вияв любові до рідної землі у 1989 році був неабияким сміливим вчинком.
