RE: Dog sitting for my parents

That's a big thing you've gotta look out for with big dogs and small dogs, that the big ones don't step on them. I just adopted my sisters two year old full bred boxers, and my parents have Poms. The oldest fella is around 12 and the boxer always tries to play with him by putting his paw on his back.
Honestly there is something about small dogs that I don't really like, especially ones with a sharp bark!

Our husky doesnt try and step on her at all, he mainly just blocks areas so she can't get to them. Our lab is clumsy and when he is excited about food, he forgets how big he is. We used to have boxers back when we lived in Texas and they are pretty crazy when they play.
I know what you mean about not liking small dogs. They are just weird. They have always been the ones that end up biting people and other pets too.
I've been around pits for a long time. Hell, I split my head open once and my brothers pit who was trained as an actual guard dog came over, licked the blood off my face, and slept with me that night. Not once have I ever been bit by one. Now my parents dogs that's a different story. I would be petting them then all of a sudden they'd snap and try to bite me.
Ya, I’ve only ever been bit by little dogs. They are psycho.
