Using AI to make your own photos look different.

I wondered what would happen if I were to input one of my own photos into DreamStudio, and give it a description.

I decided to try it out with a couple of photos.

The first one is one I created using an RC model car, packing paper and a lighter. I posted the photo during my year long #DailyAndFresh project.

Also available as an NFT on Lensy.io

Here are a couple of the best results I got:

The next one was an interesting experiment. I tried adding something to the picture, and it kind of worked beyond expectations.

The original photo was also posted in the mentioned year long project:

It is a toy Vespa in front of a collection of stones (on an upside-down self-made leather goban, a go board, representing a beach), and a watercolor painting of a mediterranean village (painted by myself when I was a kid).

Here are the two recreations I loved the most. You can guess what I wanted the AI to do with them.

"Meditation"
"In a hurry"

Which one do you like the best?

AI is surely taking on the world. From self driving cars to chat bots, it has transformed the world which is a good sign

Very interesting! But AI was co-author to the work then?!

We can't go that far yet I think. An AI needs to learn to be creative by itself first. At the moment it always needs a human to provide the idea and vision with to generate anything.
